Smiling hugely, you looked at the darkness that filled your room. You tried to sleep, but nothing worked. Sitting up, your shoulders slumped as the corner of your lips curled up after trying to straighten them out. Getting out of bed, you pulled back your curtains and looked out to the night sky, your room slowly filling with the moonlight.
Smile fading slightly, you thought - honestly. Everything that had happened, this horrible attachment you had to him and how happy you were to see him, how he was constantly in your thoughts; the first thing you thought of in the morning and the last at night. You hesitated to admit it, but Natasha was right.
You did like him.
Bringing your hands up to your face, you buried it into them. If you didn't, Thor would have meant at least almost the same to you; as Loki did. Just mentioning his name in your thoughts got you excited, made you happy. It's, no wonder, why you feel special with him. Why you wish he would just hold you in his arms.
Even though admitting it to yourself made you shy down, you felt better. As if there wasn't anything stuck in your throat anymore. You took a deep breath, moving your hands away and looking across New York, at all the lights; that looked like different coloured stars from afar - reminding you slightly of Asgard. You felt shy now, but you were determined not to tomorrow. If there was anyone you were going to admit it to, after yourself, it was definitely going to be Natasha. You were thankful for her, happy that she was around for you - while you had no one else.
You were soon thinking of all of the others, how they had done different things for you; how much they helped. You felt lucky to be where you are; to have these amazing people you could call friends, this heartwarming Asgardian as your c- did you dare to say it? Yes.
