-Y/N's POV- The rest of the week passed by quickly. Now it was time for the weekend. My parents reminded Nicole and I that we were all gonna have a family day together.
So on Saturday, I woke up at 11am. I took a quick shower, blow dried my hair, applied makeup and got dressed.

Once I was ready, I made my way downstairs to see my Mom cooking eggs and bacon for breakfast while my dad was reading a book.
MOM: "Morning sweetie." She warmly smiled at me.
DAD: "Morning monkey!" He smiled back at me.
Y/N: "Morning." I returned the smiles and sat down next to my Dad at the island.
MOM: "How'd you sleep?"
Y/N: "Good." I nodded.
On cue, Nicole came downstairs wearing black ripped jeans and a black long sleeve shirt with white sneakers. She crossed her arms at us.
NICOLE: "Do we have to go out today?" She tilted her head in annoyance.
MOM: "Yes. The last time we all went out as a family was...a month ago?" She looked at my Dad, he shrugged.
Nicole rolled her eyes then her phone chimed. I stared at her and saw her clench her jaw while texting someone back.
Y/N: "So, where are we going?"
MOM: "There's this beautiful park that just opened up that my co-worker visited last week." She kept her smile on as she served our breakfast on plates, "We could take family pictures and everything!"
Nicole ignored her as she kept texting whoever she was talking too while I nodded.
DAD: "Sounds good, baby." He smiled at her then bookmarked his book and set it down.
Once she served our breakfast, we ate together in the dining room, discussing our previous week.
Y/N: "Yeah. Apparently they had rules for me which was weird." My eyebrows squished together as I took a bite of my bacon.
Nicole huffed out a breath while shaking her head at her phone while my parents exchanged a glance.
MOM: "So, is everything okay now?"
I nodded as I took a sip of my orange juice.
MOM: "Good. I'm glad you have them, Y/N. Who knows? Maybe one of them will be your future husband."
I choked a little on my orange juice, making Nicole grin at me for a moment then she returned her gaze to her phone.
Y/N: "What?" I coughed while setting my orange juice down.
