-Y/N's POV-
French class went by fast, and same with the rest of the classes that day. Eventually, it reached the end of the school day. Now was the time for Clay and I to have our study date.

Clay, George, and I all met in the parking lot after school. When we met, we climbed in Clay's car and took off. Throughout the ride, the 3 of us spoke about our days and listened to music.

After some time, we made it to Clay's house. Once we all got out of the car and shut the doors, George jogged over to his house while Clay and I walked to his.

Before we began to study, we decided to get some snacks for brain food.

Now, Clay and I were laying down on his bed next to each other on our sides, with our schoolwork in front of us, all while listening to soft music in the background.

Y/N:
"Okay," I held flash cards in my hands, "What was the Pauli Exclusion Principal?"

CLAY:
"When someone named Pauli met someone named Exclusion." He joked, making me tilt my head, "Sorry um...something with electrons."

Y/N:
"It's when each orbital can hold a maximum of two electrons."

CLAY:
"That's what I said." He shrugged with a smile.

I sighed while smiling back.

Y/N:
"How about this? Each question you get right, you get a kiss."

CLAY:
"Well...! Chemistry just got a lot more interesting." He joked, making me huff out a smile.

Y/N:
"Okay next," I read from the next flashcard, "What is an activated complex?"

CLAY:
"When the complex is activated." He blinked.

I rolled my eyes while setting the flashcards down.

CLAY:
"Okay okay," He smiled wider, "A chemical species temporarily formed by the colliding reactant molecules before the final product of the reaction is formed."

Y/N:
"Correct." I smiled while leaning in.

Once we were about to kiss, my smile faded as my eyes widened. I shot my head around at Clay's window to look into George's room to see if he was there, he wasn't.

I breathed out nervously while looking back at Clay.

Y/N:
"Maybe we shouldn't kiss, George might see."

CLAY:
"Or," He raised his eyebrows while standing up, "We could shut the curtains."

Clay pulled on the curtains to shut them. Suddenly, they collapsed onto the floor along with the curtain rod, creating a loud noise. I jumped along with Clay. I leaned more on my right shoulder.

Y/N:
"Well if that's not a sign, I don't know what is." I joked as I tried not to smile.

CLAY:
"Cockblocked by a curtain, ouch." He joked back, making me laugh.

My crush hopped back on the bed, then stared up at his ceiling.

CLAY:
"What is life?" He randomly asked.

My eyebrows squished together at him as my smile widened. Then I laid down next to him while staring up at his ceiling.

Y/N:
"Life is when two people love each other very much." I nodded while pressing my lips together.

Clay bursted out in a wheeze while shutting his eyes, making me burst out laughing too.

Y/N:
"Wanna get back to studying?" I turned my head to the left to look him in the eyes.
