-GEORGE's POV-
After he asked me the question I was fearing, my hands began to shake slightly.

CLAY:
"I don't know what happened, but I did see his body there..." He sighed, "Y/N texted us and said she was going to look for you. She tracked your location and when we got there, we saw you unconscious outside..."

I clenched my jaw, my eyes still focused on the sheet.

CLAY:
"We tried waking you up, but you wouldn't so...we figured we'd go help Y/N but when we walked inside...I saw my father's body there...and I knew he was gone..."

My hands began to shake more as slight tears formed in my eyes from the flashbacks of the blood seeping out from his dad's chest.

CLAY:
"I know it's bad to say this but...a little part of me was relieved...he killed Drista and he tried getting back into my life but, he didn't deserve to be in it...I'm just really hoping that he didn't hurt you, so...could you tell me what hap—"

-CLAY's POV-
My eyes fell to George's hands on his lap, they were shaking like crazy. My eyes widened at that, I quickly got up and set my hand on his, making him jump.

CLAY:
"Hey—" My brows furrowed together as I frowned, "What's going on?"

His breathing picked up as he stared at me, he looked almost scared, which made me nervous. I decided to drop the subject so he wouldn't be afraid.

CLAY:
"N—Never mind, you don't have to tell me what he did to you, but...I'm really sorry he hurt you..." My frown deepened while walking back to my chair, "Y—You don't have to tell me what happened there, I'm sorry I pushed you..."

He swallowed hard while looking back at the bedsheet.

CLAY:
"Graduation is tomorrow...that'll be fun, right?" I sadly smiled at him.

George didn't do anything except glare at the same place he's been staring at since Y/N left the room. I sighed nervously while leaning back in my chair, hoping that he wouldn't develop some sort of PTSD from prom night.

-Y/N's POV-
Once I called George's parents, I ran into Nick in the hallway. We bumped into each other. When we realized who each other were, Nick instantly frowned.

NICK:
"I—I'm sorry..." He apologized for bumping into me.

Y/N:
"It's fine..." I mumbled and began to walk away when he spoke again.

NICK:
"N—Not just for bumping into you..." He said quietly, making my feet stop, "B—But for saying you shouldn't wait around for George..."

I swallowed hard while staring at the tile.

NICK:
"I—I didn't want to give my hopes up about him waking up and—" His breathing picked up, "I—I'm sorry I hurt you and I—"

He shut his eyes.

NICK:
"I—I'm not giving up on George. I just didn't want to see you cry anymore and—"

Y/N:
"Nick..." I interrupted him while staring down at the ground, "You and Wilbur were wrong...George woke up..."

His eyes widened as his lips parted in shock.

NICK:
"What??"

I looked at him from over my shoulder.

Y/N:
"He woke up just like I knew he would...you can go see him but...don't talk to me for a little bit, okay...?" I gave him a serious but sad expression.

He gulped nervously as he nodded in guilt. George's parents suddenly ran up to us from behind Nick.

G MOM:
"He woke up??"
