-Y/N's POV-
I spent the whole week in the hospital. My parents wanted me to be 100% healed so I didn't have another accident like before.

Clay and Nick have stayed by my side the whole time. George however, was forced by his parents to attend classes instead of being there for me.

So, I haven't spoken to George the whole week. I wouldn't know what to say even if he did talk to me. I know he's still upset about what happened but it wasn't fair.

Today is now Monday. The beginning of the week, the beginning of clubs and the beginning of problems.

My eyes fluttered open at the sound of my annoying alarm. When I turned to my side, I tapped my screen multiple times to shut it off.

Then I took a deep breath and ran my hands through my hair while staring up at my ceiling. It took some self convincing to get out of bed.

Once I did, I went to my bathroom, applied my makeup, curled my hair then got dressed, all while listening to my favorite song.

After getting dressed, I fluffed my hair out in the mirror while frowning at myself. Then I grabbed my backpack off the floor and swung it over my shoulder.

I walked down the stairs and when I made it down, all eyes were on me.

Nicole was eating breakfast with our parents for once at the island next to my dad. My mom set down a pancake on her plate then perked her head up once she saw me.

MOM:
"Morning sweetie." She lightly smiled, "Are you sure you're feeling okay to go to school?"

I nodded without meeting her gaze.

MOM:
"Okay...be safe please."

I strolled over to the door with a glare.

MOM:
"Love you dear..." her voice was faint.

DAD:
"Love you monkey..." he spoke quietly.

"Love you guys..." I said to myself in my head.

I swung open the door and shut it behind me once I made it outside. When the breeze hit me, I saw Clay's white car parked in the driveway like usual.

It would be my first time seeing George in a week.

I released a shaky breath out then walked down the driveway to Clay's car near the sidewalk.

When I made it to the closed door, I reached my hand out to open it when it opened for me. I met eyes with George as he let go of the door to sit back in his seat.

Both of our eyes were a little widened as our expressions were neutral. We held eye contact for what felt like years until someone cleared their throat, making me lose the contact and climb inside.
