-Y/N's POV-
I ended up spending the night at Hannah's house both Saturday and Sunday. I texted my sister to let my parents know that I was fine.

Once Monday morning hit, I got ready in Hannah's bathroom. I curled my hair using her wand, I applied my makeup from my bag and then grabbed an outfit from the same bag.

You wore this:

Once I was done getting ready, Hannah complimented my outfit and I did the same for hers, then we left for school

Once I was done getting ready, Hannah complimented my outfit and I did the same for hers, then we left for school.

Throughout the drive, I was extremely anxious. I wasn't ready to tell my friends that we should have some distance for a while. I couldn't bare to see their reactions.

When we made it to the school after a few short minutes, Hannah parked her car, then the two of us walked side by side to the building.

It felt off walking with Hannah instead of my friends. I couldn't help but frown as I messed with the sleeves of my sweater.

Soon, Hannah said her goodbyes and parted ways with me to get to her first class of the day. Leaving me alone to go to mine, the one where I had no choice but to see Clay.

I strolled down the hallways and each step I took, more anxiety was placed on my chest.

Unfortunately, I made it to the Chemistry classroom. When I did, I scanned the room to find Clay and there he was, sitting down in his seat wearing a black hoodie, with the hood over his head, scribbling down some things in his notebook.

He looked tired and out of it, making even more anxiety come up.

I slowly walked over to him to take my seat, without giving him a second glance. He didn't lift his head up to look at me either, letting me know all I needed to.

He wanted distance from me as well.

With that thought in mind, I sighed and tried remembering everything that Hannah and I spoke about.

"Some distance will be good...after a week, we'll be good as new..." I thought with a frown.

Soon, Ms. Erikson came in with her books and began teaching.

After a while, Chemistry was over and soon, it was time to see George in Math. I decided to do the same cold shoulder silent treatment as I did to Clay, since it worked after all.

Soon, I went on my way to Math class.

When I entered the room, I saw George was wearing a black hoodie too, looking tired and out of it just like Clay. My curiosity almost got the better of me, but I backed down to talk to him.

So, I took my seat next to him, said hi to Darryl and Jack, then became silent for the rest of the class.

George never looked in my direction once, he was the first one to leave once the bell rang.
