-Y/N's POV-
The doctor came to see how Clay was doing after half an hour. I was annoyed that it took so long but Clay kept reassuring he was fine. Once the doctor checked him out, he confirmed that Clay was okay.

DOCTOR:
"Seems like he just got the wind knocked out of him but he's okay."

Y/N:
"Are you sure?"

DOCTOR:
"I've been doing this for thirty years so, yes."

I slightly glared at the doctor while narrowing my eyes at him.

CLAY:
"Told you I was fine." He smiled at me.

Soon, the doctor and the coach left to discuss whatever. Meanwhile, Clay sat up.

Y/N:
"He was a douche." I mumbled while crossing my arms.

CLAY:
"He was?"

Y/N:
"Yeah but whatever. I'm glad you're okay." I sighed.

CLAY:
"Same. We should go see who won." He was about to stand up when I offered my hands.

He took them then stood up slowly. I eyed him carefully.

Y/N:
"You okay?"

CLAY:
"Yeah." He nodded.

Soon, we heard chatter get louder to us. Wilbur and the rest of the team suddenly came inside the locker room.

JACK:
"Can't believe we lost our first game." He shook his head with a frown.

Mine and Clay's eyes widened while glancing at each other.

WILBUR:
"I tried my best, alright?" He mumbled lowly while opening his locker.

Some of the members shook their heads, others sighed as they walked away to their lockers.

Y/N:
"What happened?" I frowned at Wilbur.

Wilbur sighed.

WILBUR:
"I fucked up..."

Y/N:
"Well, you'll still have other games where you'll win. You tried your best, that's all that matters."

Wilbur looked over his shoulder at me then slowly began to smile.

WILBUR:
"I guess you're right..."

I nodded with a smile.

Y/N:
"Now, are you gonna let some numbers on a scoreboard get you down or are you gonna party like there's no tomorrow?"

Wilbur huffed out a smile.

WILBUR:
"The second option."

I grinned.

CLAY:
"Party?"

I turned around to face Clay.

Y/N:
"Yeah, you failed to tell me that there was gonna be a party tonight."

CLAY:
"Well, I wasn't gonna go."

Y/N:
"Why not? It could cheer everyone up from tonight along with the long week."

Clay contemplated while staring at me then at Wilbur.

CLAY:
"Fine...but if I have to go, so do the other idiots."

Y/N:
"Deal. Get...less sweaty," I darted my eyes between Clay and Wilbur, "I'll wait outside."

Clay raised his eyebrows then I left.

I texted my other friends to meet me outside. While waiting, I gazed at the night sky while holding myself. There weren't as many stars out tonight.

GEORGE:
"Hey."
