"One's yours. Nicked it from the Sparrows." She pointed out. Surprisingly, Lila answered her with no such fib. But the way she said it made it seem like it wasn't such a big deal. "Go on. Give it a go." She urged Y/N, who was the one who held the Umbrella Academy's supposed briefcase.
Y/N could have sworn she hit déja vu when the briefcase started whirring and buffering until it died down after she opened it. The difference is, this one wasn't a defect. It was supposed to work.
Number Five was coming close to a panic. Yet he remained calm for there's still one more briefcase to check. "And then we try mine." Lila drawled out, already knowing that it has the same problem as the other.
As it produced the same result as the briefcase Y/N was holding, that was when Five started to get anxious.
"Yeah." Lila murmured.
"This can't be happening." Number Five sputtered. "The odds of one failing, it's in the millions unless it's manufacture defect from the earlier productions. But two of them..."
"Astronomical. Yeah." Lila finished his sentence. "So what does that mean exactly?" She remained collected, considering that she'd already let out her frustrations on her own briefcase after failing to get to Berlin. "End of the world?" She even tried to guess what the probable result of this would be.
Y/N got herself out of the tub, putting briefcase down in the process of softly chuckling out her words. "I'm pretty sure it'll sound much worse than that for you guys." She sighed out as she stood between them with her hands placed on their backs like a referee. "It means that you and Five are gonna have to team up and work together." She answered Lila.
"Shit." Hearing that her guess was wrong made Lila want to drown herself back in her bath.

"Are you coming with us back to the Commission?" Lila asked Y/N while the three of them walked toward the bathroom exit. Five and Y/N handled the briefcase with care.
The Unseen shook her head slowly in reply. "No, I'm just here to help you guys get there." She said to them. She remained subtle with the feeling she'd got after remembering the last time she was there.
Lila found it surprising. "Well, that's a shocker!" She exclaimed, her British accent being as vivid as ever. "Aren't you and Five joined in the hip or something? Are you guys in a fight?" She pressed on, purposely walking slow so they wouldn't reach the door until she hears gossip.
Y/N attempted to control her emotions, but that memory was too strong. "I just..." She almost shouted her words out. Thankfully, a deep breath in and a deep breath out tuned down her tone. "I don't wanna go back there." She mumbled.
The way she looked away from her made Lila realize and remember what she was on about. Especially when she grew up at the Commission playing inside the Infinite Switchboard. "Oh." She uttered out. "I'm sorry about that. That guy's always been a dick." She couldn't help but hold Y/N's hand in comfort.
It was the first time she'd caught Y/N gratefully smile at her. "It's fine." She reassured to Lila, "It's been 27 years for me and I've served justice for myself by blowing them up."
"That shit was badass, by the way."
"Thanks."
She isn't so bad after all. Y/N thought. She might as well befriend the woman beside her instead of making her the enemy. Soon enough, Five opened the door for the both newly friends, letting them exit first before him.
"Lila?"
Not long after they got out of the bathroom, Diego started approaching Lila. "You need to take this kid with you." He pointed out to Stanley, who looked at them blankly as Diego told on him like he did something wrong to his said Dad.
