Not Even Close || Number Five x Fem!Reader

ALLISON JUST TORE her eyes away from the scene of Viktor and Harlan discussing what was about to happen. Then, all of a sudden, when she looked back up, they were trapped in a golden dome while Viktor looked as if his soul was getting sucked out of his body.

Is this a part of their process? She thought as she got out of the car, sucking the life out of his nanny?

"Harlan, that's enough!"

It was fearsome to see her brother suffering like so. No matter how much Viktor would say he could take it, Allison was not gonna choose to just stand there and let this old man hurt her brother.

"I heard a rumor you let him go."

She tried to use her powers on Harlan, but the marigold dome that surrounded them shielded them from her voice. While it affected her in a sense that she wasn't able to take control and stop their endeavors, the two were already enthralled into keep doing what they were doing.

"Listen harder, Viktor! You have to listen!" Harlan guided his nanny through the process of transferring his powers back to him. His eyes glowed like active lava while he could feel the pain the seeped through Viktor.

It was difficult to keep going with this kind of sight. But if they wanted to drain Harlan's powers out of his system and back to Viktor, they had no choice but to keep moving forward.

The sound waves grew and grew inside Viktor as Harlan pushed through, making him hear what he's been hearing the whole time he was gone. As it grew stronger, he believed they were making progress with it. "I... can... hear... it!" He strained out his words.

By then, he was well-aware that this connection that he was making with Harlan was giving him a seizure. It made Allison worry even more. Panic grew quickly inside her when Harlan just kept his guard up.

"Focus on it. Let it flow through your body." Harlan didn't even flinch from his spot. He was practically electrocuting Viktor.

Allison had to do something before he gets toasted. This was getting too far, and she wasn't planning on watching this shit. I can't lose him too. And so, she entered the sound wave dome.

The barrier blared through her ears and into her head. The ringing made her clutch her head, eyes glowing with the same tone as Harlan's. She didn't know exactly what it was that she was battling in her head so much that it hurts, but now that she was in, she could pry them off.

"Harlan!"

Once again, he ignored the lady who was intervening with their plans. And that frustrated her immensely.

"Harlan, stop! It's too much!"

Her distorted voice echoed through their ears that it broke them out from the concentration they'd worked so hard on. She never knew she held that much power. "How the hell did I just do that?" She thought aloud, was it because she entered that circle of sound waves?

Though, none of them were amazed nor did they appreciate what she'd just done. "You had no right!" Especially Harlan, "We were making progress." He spat.

"Progress?" Allison scoffed, "You were killing him!" She then approached Viktor who has his face planted on the ground.

As she helped him up, Viktor couldn't he more compelled by the thing that they were doing. He wanted to continue, but with Allison unleashing her maternal instincts on him, it didn't seem to look like it would go smoothly. "You said we could try to tonight. There's still time." He panted out, "You promised."

The fact that he wanted to continue appalled Allison. Did they really have to go through these measures just to take what he gave to Harlan? For all she knew, it wouldn't be that much of a big deal to have one more person who had supernatural abilities. "No, no. Something else is going on here." She fretted.
