"I WANT YOU to focus, Number Eight." Sir Reginald calmly said. They were in the courtyard, training her abilities alone. Y/N was getting sick of their private trainings. But she never interfered.

Her father turned to Diego, who he dragged into to throw knives at her. "Go on, Number Two."

Diego didn't want to do it. He grew too close with her. She was like a sister he never had. "But I-I don't want to hurt-"

"Don't you dare intervene with my orders. Do what I asked you to do now." Their said father demanded.

Diego didn't move a muscle. He looked at Y/N with hesitation. "Just do it, I'll be fine." She reassured.

He reluctantly obliged. He threw one of his blades at her. Fortunately, Y/N successfully made it stop just as it came close to her face, she turned it around with her mind and aimed it at the apple that was hanging on a tree.

Sir Reginald looked down on his notebook and wrote down whatever he had observed. "Now, make an illusion."

The girl closed her eyes and thought of what should she do. She decided to make clones of herself all over the place. Reginald hummed as he wrote something down once again.

After a couple more things, her Father eventually ended their session. Y/N went back inside and headed for the kitchen to make herself a snack. Five was there, making himself a treat as well.

The both if them looked at each other and greeted with a short nod as if they were strangers. Five was finish making his peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich in the process. “Are you still gonna use the peanut butter?” He asked her telepathically.

Yeah, just leave it there on the table. Thank you.” She replied. They never knew what was the difference between talking physically and telepathically. It just so happens that they got used to talking through their minds that they didn't speak a word aloud. When they do, it would barely be a word.

As soon as he left, she grabbed the jar of chocolate spread and a new butter knife to spread the peanut butter and chocolate on each slice of bread.

Ben walked in as the girl finished making her sandwich. "Hey, Ben." She greeted as he grabbed himself a glass of water.

"What's up?" He replied.

The H/C haired girl started cleaning up her surroundings after she set aside her snack, "You got any books you'd recommend?" She asked as she put the jars of chocolate and peanut butter back to where it belongs.

"I just finished this one. It's good." He suggested, showing the book to her. Y/N hummed intriguingly as she read the title.

"Can I borrow it and read it?" She asked. She never really shared the same interests on books with anyone besides Ben. They would even share their opinions on a book after they read it.

"Sure." Ben gladly handed over the book to her. Y/N only looked at it, "I think it's best if I finish my food first. Wouldn't want it to get dirty. I'll get it later, sound good?"

Ben nodded in understanding, "Alright, see you later."

With that, Y/N walked out of the kitchen only to see Klaus by the liquor cabinet, grabbing a bottle or two. She wasn't surprised. "Snooping around Dad's liquor cabinet again, are we?"

Klaus jumped a he heard Number Eight's voice from behind. "I-I just don't wanna see them anymore." He mumbled.

She should've been mad about it. But she couldn't. Not when his power was to conjure the dead. She knew it was hard having that kind of ability just by watching him struggle.
