THEY ARRIVED BACK at Diego's place, he put down Y/N on the bed first before Five. She immediately turned to her side to, facing the wall. Luther handed him the mannequin for him to set it on a chair while Number One was laying Five down.
Number Two glanced at the doll strangely and walked up beside Luther. They watched as the two of their siblings were sleeping. "Funny." Diego began, "If I didn't know he was such a prick, I'd say he looks almost adorable in his sleep." He commented.
"And if I didn't know she was such a sarcastic pain in the neck, I'd say she looks so peaceful in her sleep. Don't worry, they'll sober up eventually. Be back to their normal, unpleasant selves." Luther followed. Diego gave him a look. "I can't wait that long."
The truth is, he didn't like it when Luther bad-mouths Y/N. She was the only person he treated like a sister. He knew how she was like when she gets pissed or furious. Luther was confused when Diego was glaring at him, "What?"
"First of all, Y/N isn't a pain in the neck. She may be a sarcastic little thing, but she does anything to protect her family. Second, you think she's annoying because she scolds at you all the time." He explained.
"Well she scolds at you too, how are you not annoyed with her?" Luther questioned.
"Because I learn from my mistakes. Unlike you, you just ignore it and still make yourself feel like a leader even though whatever you do is not right." He replied, "Sometimes, you just gotta listen and reflect yourself. But most of the time, if you treat her like shit, she treats you like shit too." He finished.
Luther didn't say anything anymore. That was when Diego changed back to the subject, "I need to find out what their connection is with these lunatics before someone else dies."
He started walking up to his desk and Number One followed. Luther looked back at Five and became suspicious, "All that stuff he was saying before... What do you think Five meant by that-"
Diego put up a finger, shushing him as he got distracted by the thumping overhead. He heard footsteps approaching. Luther listened as well.
Diego pulled out a knife from his sheath and headed for the door. He gestured for Luther to stay quiet as he readied himself and opened the door hurriedly to throw the knife.
"You throw another one of those goddamn knives at me, I'm pressin' charges." Until he found out it was just Al, his employer. Number Two widened the door, "What do you want, Al?"
The old guy walked in, "I ain't your secretary." He retorted.
"Yeah." Diego sighed.
"Some lady called for you, said she needs your help." Al informed.
"What lady?" Diego asked. Little did he know Y/N was already awake, listening.
"I dunno. Some, uh, detective." Al answered. The girl got fully awoken when she heard 'detective'. She only knew one detective who would call for Diego.
"I think she said her name was, uh, 'Blotch' or somethin'." And she guessed it right. It was Patch, her co-worker.
"Patch?" Diego asked. Al answered with a shrug. Number Two was a little happy when he heard that she needed him. "She needs my help." Though, the girl wasn't feeling good about it. She feels like something's wrong.
Diego didn't have second thoughts about going after her. "She needs you to meet her at that motel, a dump on Calhoun."
"When?"
"About half an hour ago. Uh, said she found your brother." Al answered as he left. Oh no.. Y/N thought as she was hit into realization on who he was talking about.
