~Back to the present~
THE H/C HAIRED girl decided to stay in her room, so she did. She looked around her room as she didn't know what she should do while she wait.
Until her eyes landed on her old walkman that was lying on top of her old study table. She picked it up and opened it to see a cassette tape labelled, 'Listen to me if you ever get bored' she chuckled at how cringy her hand writing was.
Luckily, the tape was winded back to the start. She put on the headphones that came with it and placed the cassette tape back in the walkman and pressed play. Fortunately for her, it still works. The girl didn't know what to do anymore if she ever finds out it doesn't work.
She lied down on her bed and stared at the ceiling. 'It's My Party' by Lesley Gore was playing. Her feet danced to the beat as she tucked her arm under her head and picked her fingernails on the other.
She waited for her siblings until it was raining. She even discovered that her music taste back then was good. She forgot how she loved listening to something vintage.
When the mixtape finished, she decided to go back downstairs to grab herself another book to read. But when she got out of her room, she heard Allison's voice, "Hey, sis," she was talking to Vanya.
Am I really that numb to not hear them arrive? Y/N questioned herself.
She looked down from the upper floor to see all the commotion that was going on. "What is she doing here? You don't belong here. Not after what you did." Diego snarled as he walked up the stairs.
Allison spoke for Vanya, "You're seriously gonna do this today?" But she got ignored, "Way to dress for the occasion by the way," She added with sarcasm filling her voice.
"At least I'm wearing black." Diego said without looking back at them. The E/C eyed girl rolled her eyes at him. Same old Diego.
"You know what? I-Maybe he's right. And I shouldn't-"
"Forget about him. I'm glad you're here." Allison interrupted.
Y/N thought of pulling a prank on them so she turned herself invisible and jumped down from the rails as quietly as she can. Of course, she knew there were easier ways to get down, but where's the fun in that?
"Has Y/N arrived already?" Vanya asked. Little did she know Y/N was standing right between her and Allison like a referee in a wrestling match. Number 3 shook her head and frowned. Knowing Y/N, she was usually the punctual one in the family.
"Weird, she usually arrives here earlier than us when it comes to special occasions.." Vanya recalled.
By then Y/N was back to being visible, "As matter of fact, I did arrive earlier." This made Vanya and Allison jump. The girl giggled at her little stunt and hugged each one of her sisters. "It's nice to see you both."

"... No. I'm done with all that." Y/N heard her brother, Klaus, as she walked in her dad's office. She saw him hide his wrist tag in his sleeve. The girl leaned back on the wall, unnoticed as she listened to their conversation.
"I just came here to prove to myself that the old man was really gone." Klaus continued, "And he is! He's dead. Yeah!" He clapped and cheered.
"You wanna know how I know? Because-"
"Because none of us would be allowed to set foot in this room if he was still alive?" Y/N cut him off. Klaus turned to her direction and grinned when he saw her.
"Ah! Officer Hargreeves!" The girl smiled and walked up to her brother. "Ah! Junkie Hargreeves!" The girl mimicked as they shared a hug.
"Long time no see... Oh wait, nevermind, you're the one who always catches me when I reach the limit." Klaus recalled as he giggled. "Anyway, you're guess was right," Klaus continued.
