WHILE ALLISON WAS busy composing herself from her panic attack moments ago, Diego and Lila took care of what Stanley had done in the White Buffalo suite, keeping themselves busy amidst of Viktor's endeavors in the Harlan issue. Some of them, such as Klaus, Five, Y/N, and Luther kept themselves busy at the bar as they waited for Viktor.

Number Five and Y/N sat on the bar stools near each other with Klaus making himself a drink and Luther pacing around in the background. Lost in thought, Five couldn't help but fixate himself on playing with Y/N's fingers quietly.

As the girl noticed the tired frown on his face, she couldn't help but ask, "You okay?" Even though she has the ability to read his mind, she chose to ignore the whispers and really ask Five.

"Aside from getting deprived of my supposed retirement because of the Kugelblitz? Yeah, I guess I'm okay." Number Five remarked. Covering his whole feelings up with sarcasm.

Y/N's face softened by everything Five has gone through. He'd been through so much. "I'm sorry." She blurted out, simply thinking of herself as someone who hadn't been all that helpful ever since they got back in 2019.

"You don't have to be." Number Five chuckled softly, looking at her with tired, but loving eyes. "It's not your fault to be sorry for." He reassured the girl as he kissed the back of her hand. Calm. It was the only thing he could feel whenever she's with him.

"Just hang in there, Love. We'll get it over with before you even know it." She said to Five, despite feeling uncertain of the blitz being evitable. She wasn't even sure if those words were helpful at all.

And Five felt the same way. He appreciated her trying though. "I do hope you're right." He sighed out.

Don't save the world. The thought of his own advice to himself was hard to take in. After everything he's been through; after everything they've been through. Was that really the only solution to this destructive cheese ball, to let the whole world end?

Y/N, on the other hand, already wasn't too hopeful of the Harlan situation. Hence, her uncertainty. She'd seen this happen before from the same person with the same lie. And where did that lead us the last time?

As if on cue, Viktor waltzed by the bar.

As Y/N expected, it was just him. The old man whom they needed for a pass to the Academy wasn't walking with Viktor. The fact her suspicions were true made her scoff and get aloof, letting go of Five's hand to stand up and take over Klaus to make herself a drink using her tiny knowledge with bartending.

Once the boy noticed why she already looked pissed, he got out of his stool and called for Viktor, who seemed to walk by as if he didn't have to do anything. "Hey."

Viktor stopped on his tracks as soon as he heard Five approaching him. "It's time." His brother said. He thought he'd have the time to think of a way to cover for Harlan, who already left with Allison. "Where's Harlan?"

He didn't really bother giving them a truthful answer. "He's gone." Viktor said with a straight face.

"You let him go, didn't you?" Luther frowned. There was no surprise with Viktor's actions, considering that he's been protective of Harlan ever since he showed up.

"Harlan's death is not gonna stop the Kugelblitz." Viktor blurted out, "It's just gonna be another tragedy on a tragedy," Now, he just didn't care what his siblings think of him. All that mattered to him was keeping Harlan alive until he could live normally again. All powers sucked out of his system this time.

Frustration washed over his siblings as they heard Viktor's news. Y/N couldn't stay open minded, even if she tried. The least she could do was stay quiet and heighten her tolerance toward this, "and we can find another... I will find another way." Until she heard his claim.
