He truly was bewildered by that logic. Even Klaus didn't really know what to say. It seemed like a convenient idea, in his part. He didn't see why suspense was killing Five. "Oh, well, I don't know anything--"
The boy wasn't actually planning to hear his comments just yet as he went on, "Maybe this is his way of saying not to become him, but..."
"Oh." It was then, the Séance realized how this was making Five vulnerable. "You're really messed up about this, huh?" He addressed.
Five hated to admit it, but he was right. He just couldn't take it, seeing himself die with his last words being in riddles. He didn't even see how his old self's relationship with his own version of Y/N turned out, seeing as he didn't see her in the bunker at all. "I've cheated time so much, I guess I just figured I'd somehow cheat death." He remarked.
"But it turns out, I die a one-armed nightmare inside a bureaucratic hellscape of my own design."
"Spoiler alert!" Klaus exclaimed in a gasp.
"You own that place?" Y/N's voice chimed in as soon as she heard which place he died at. Her emotions were mixed together, but joy wasn't one of them.
Five instantly threw his hands up in defense, knowing that some of the people in there treated her badly, but that was just an understatement. "In my defense, I have no memories of hiring those bastards, nor the establishment of that place." He said. "I was just as confounded as you when I found out about it." He explained.
The girl decided to let go of the subject. There was no point in getting worked up of what happened years ago when they have a much bigger problem on their platter. "So what else did you find?" She asked.
"Well, I found this trashy tattoo."
Klaus gasped in amusement when his brother showed them his piece of his dead skin where the stamp is. "Is this your skin?" He queried with a disgusted, yet fascinated tone. He had the urge to touch it.
"I'll be damned if I go out with an old man tramp stamp." Five remarked.
The Unseen sat on top of the bar to get a good look of the tattoo. The top had two circles -- a tiny one being placed on top of a bigger one in which it was filled with a pattern of quadrilaterals with straight lines lines flowing out and below the circle. She didn't understand what was the meaning behind that strange mandala. But, as soon as her eyes laid at the bigger circle at the bottom, she saw a crest that made her hop off the counter.
A crest she never knew she would see again.
"If you don't wanna end up like this guy, why don't you just do something completely different?" Klaus advised. "Completely different-- Marry Y/N and move upstate, become an alpaca farmer." A part of him just said the first bit mainly just to tease them by giving hints of marriage. He knew it totally worked with Y/N, who nearly choked on her drink.
His advice was purely unsolicited and random, but Five was quick to open up with his suggestions. For once, he found Klaus' saying wise enough. "Yeah, I could." He nodded, "The timeline's malleable. We've proven that much."
Séance nodded to him as he thought it through. Though he wasn't entirely listening as he looked and ran his fingers on the tattoo, still amazed by the fact that he was touching his dead old brother's skin. It didn't take long for him to recognize the logo that came below it while Five went on.
"I could try and break the cycle, but--"
"Yeah, sure." Klaus agreed. As he did, he followed up another suggestion to Number Five, "Just keep your arms and extremities away from sharp objects, and don't join the Mothers of Agony."
