"That makes no sense!" Ben drunkenly glared.

"I didn't think the old man had it in him." Five commented to himself. He wasn't sure if it was the alcohol driving him when he felt moved by a poem about death.

As soon as the old man left, everyone in the hall had stayed silent. That is, until Mr. Rodo took his place by the sound system. "All right, all right!" He said while the rest diverted their gaze on him, "Time to turn those frowns upside down!"

With that, he picked up a small record vinyl, "This one is for the party people." He announced, placing it on the record player for it to play something funky.

It didn't take long for them to change their mood. Everyone made their way back into the dance floor, for it was time for the after-party to start. Including the boy who was getting drunker and drunker every time he took a big swig from the bottle in his hand.

"Are we all good now?" Asked Y/N after Viktor had eventually composed himself.

The brunette nodded at the girl. "Yeah." He muttered, wiping up the remains from his runny nose. "Let's go join the rest."

And so, they spent the rest of the night working their feet off to the rhythm and the beat of the music.

Everyone was having a good time; taking their mind off whatever's happening outside the hotel. Getting drunk in the middle of the dance floor until some silly, yet stupid idea intruded their minds so they get out and loosely run around the hotel like a bunch of kids. Then going back to dance again.

Y/N was the first one to pry away from the dance party that was going on in front. Surprisingly, she was still sober... if sober meant having one drink too many yet is still calm and collected.

For a moment, she watched her family having fun. It was bringing her joy knowing that they're still able to come together without any arguments. Y/N hoped that it would stay like it all night long. With that, she decided to get some air outside.

While they were dancing to their hearts content, she picked up her coat along with a bottle of beer and quietly slipped away from the scene.

"Come on in
Sit right down
Mr. Lonely..."

The loud after-party had died down to Sloane and Luther slow dancing to Five's drunk singing of Come in Mr. Lonely on the stage. Lila and Diego had settled down by the platform as well, regaining their breathing after dancing to loads and loads of songs that were played that night.

"So, just to recap this night."

Luther hummed in reply to Sloane, urging her to continue. "Ben and Five are blotto drunk." Both of them chortled at the image of them being ever-so-wasted. "And Viktor and Allison almost punched each other out."

"Oh. Yeah." Luther nodded along, "Good thing Y/N was there to comfort Viktor too."

"Yeah." Sloane agreed before she continued. "And Dad recited a weirdly moving death poem."

Once again, Luther hummed to Sloane's quick evening recap. Come to think of it, this was the first time ever that the enjoyment of this celebration overpowered the problem. "You know, that's not bad for a Hargreeves family wedding at the end of the world." He commented.

Sloane couldn't help but put up a wide grin as she ran her fresh memories through her mind. Including the one she was making now with Luther. "You know, I didn't need a big to-do." She said to Luther, "This is all I needed."

"That used to be us."

Lila and Diego were sitting on the floor with crossed legs, watching the two of them as they were wrapped in each other's arms into a loving embrace. Diego scoffed at Lila's remark when he compared both of their relationships mentally. "We were never like that." He stayed as a fact of the matter. "Gross."
