Chapter 163 ? Cuts

Start from the beginning

My thoughts told me over and over how pathetic I was, what a shit friend I was to them, and how much better they'd be without me.

So, I made my decision.

-Y/N's POV-
Seeing Clay with a razor blade against his skin made me quickly look around George's room for my phone. Once my eyes spotted the device on his bed, I ran to it, dialed Clay's number, then held the phone up to my ear, while I saw him through the window.

Y/N:
"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon—" I mumbled, staring at him with blurry vision through the window.

Right when Clay was about to push the blade into his skin, he jumped slightly. I knew he heard his phone ringing.

So, he released a shaky breath out, set the razor blade down on his bed, then walked over to his desk to grab his phone.

Once he read my name on his phone, his expression fell into an angry one. He gripped his phone, then threw it with all his strength against his bedroom wall, making me gasp.

His phone screen cracked against the wall, and some pieces of his phone flew out. It was broken.

Seeing everything I just saw, made me feel lightheaded in sadness and worry. I breathed heavily while staring at him through the window, still with my phone up to my ear.

Slowly, he turned around to the window and once he did, he met my eyes.

Clay's gaze widened, it looked like his heart had fallen. Meanwhile, tears collapsed down my cheeks as I looked at him with a sad and shocked expression.

Suddenly, he clenched his jaw, grabbed his curtains with both hands, then jerked them shut, making me drop my phone quickly.

I ran downstairs as fast as I could to get to Clay before he did anything. I passed George in the kitchen. Once he saw me, his eyebrows squished together.

GEORGE:
"Hey, what're you—" I didn't stick around to chat.

I sprinted out of his house, slamming the door behind me. I used all my speed possible to get to Clay's home next door.

Surprisingly, his front door was unlocked. So, I swung open the door, raced upstairs and once I finally made it to Clay's bedroom, I saw him make a first slice into his wrist, I saw a red line of blood against his skin.

Y/N:
"No!" I yelled while running to him.

He jerked his head up, surprised to see me. I quickly grabbed the razor from him, then slit my own wrist quickly, making me groan in pain and shut my eyes.

CLAY:
"W—What're you doing??" He raised his voice in worry.

Y/N:
"If you do this shit to yourself—you ain't doing it alone—" I yelled at him.

Clay's lip quivered as he gazed down at our matching cuts. Seeing my cut made more tears collapse down his cheeks.

Y/N:
"Look at me—" I shouted, resulting in him shooting his gaze up to meet mine, "I don't know what's going on with you, but I can promise you that whatever you do to yourself, I'll do to myself too—"

He shut his eyes while shaking his head. I grabbed his cheeks quickly to make him open his eyes. Once I gazed into those emeralds, I spoke again, all while the blood dripped down my wrist.

Y/N:
"I don't care if you hate me—I don't care if you're mad at me, we're not doing this, and you're not leaving me—" I snapped as the tears fell down my cheeks, "I don't care how difficult life gets, you are not leaving me—what we have is for life, do you understand??"
