"And what about the board of directors?" Five asked. He still wondered what she wanted from them. More specifically, himself. "Well, that's where you come in." The Handler concluded, lightly poking the tip of his nose out of habit.

Y/N's head perked up as she mentioned her plan. Knowing that the Handler had her favourites, she wanted her favourite assassin to do the job. "Where Y/N could come along with you." The Handler added as she patted the top of her head, making the girl swat her hand off of her hair.

"Nope." Five insisted, "No, it isn't."

The woman snuggled her face into her fuzzy leopard print collar with a smirk for a short second as if she was excited about something. "In the exchange for the assassination of the board, I'm willing to get the two of you and your family out of this timeline and back to 2019 where you belong."

And there it is.

The compromising part of the conversation.

At first, the boy was still questioning about it, "And what about World War III that's due to kick off in just a few days?"

"Once the both of you and your siblings are gone, that goes away." The Handler said. Y/N knew it all too well that there was a catch for that kind of offer. It was a kind of game the Handler likes to play. And it doesn't always end well. "And the apocalypse when we get back to 2019?" The girl questioned.

The woman turned to face her, "That too."

"I distinctly remember you telling me that that apocalypse had to happen," Five recollected, "that it was supposed to happen."

Of course, the Handler had her alibi, "Back then I was toeing the company line," she lingered behind Five before she continued, "but once I'm in charge..." Once again, she did an imitation of a jazz rhythm while lightly dancing behind him with a distance that was too close for Y/N's liking, "... We can riff..."

"Jazz." Five mumbled. Now he was slowly getting tempted with the offer. And Y/N knew damn well that he was getting desperate. "Exactly." Handler exclaimed.

The girl stood there silently. What could she do? She could talk some sense into him. But would he even listen? For all she knew, Five was hard-headed. He won't listen to whatever people tell him what to do when it comes to saving his family.

Number Five struggled to ponder over it. He swore to Y/N he wouldn't listen to her anymore. But he could no longer find any more ways to stop keep his family safe. To stop the world from ending. "What about the board of directors, hmm?" He questioned, "I mean, nobody knows who they are."

"Correct." The Handler replied, "But once every fiscal quarter, they get together for a board meeting."

All of a sudden, Five was intrigued, "Where?" It was then, Y/N got the idea that he'd consider this a plan B. The problem was, she wasn't sure if she was up for it.

"The question is when." Handler corrected, "They meet somewhere in the timeline but never in the same place twice. The exact location and date of these board meetings is the most closely-guarded secret in the Commission." She explained.

"But you know where it's gonna be, don't you?"

"Would I be any good at what I do if I didn't?" The Handler answered with a question. Y/N scoffed at her logical attitude, "Like mother, like daughter." She muttered under her breath.

The boy leaned back on the counter behind him as The Handler gotten closer. He was starting to think it was the best shot he could have. But then again, he didn't want to do the task.

Of course, the girl heard his own thoughts. She understood it was for a good cause. But something tells her the deal wasn't going to be worth it. She hoped that their first plan would work. She needed to be left alone with her thoughts.
