-Y/N's POV-
When I woke up, I blinked several times. Then my eyes scanned the woods, I was alone.
I stood up from the bridge that me and my best friends used to go as kids and released a breath out then I heard footsteps running towards me.
I jerked my head around and saw Clay running towards me. When he caught up to me, he smiled widely while holding his chest.
CLAY:
"Hey."
Y/N:
"Hey." My eyebrows squished together as I smiled.
CLAY:
"You aren't forgetting about me, are you?"
My eyes widened a little.
Y/N:
"W—what?"
He paused for a moment.
CLAY:
"You aren't forgetting about me, right?" He tilted his head.
I froze as I felt uneasy.
Clay looked over his shoulder suddenly then quickly ran away, leaving me very confused.
That's when George ran up to me. He stopped in front of me while holding his knees, breathing heavily.
GEORGE:
"Running...sucks..." he said breathlessly, making me laugh.
Y/N:
"What's going on?"
He stood up straight with a wide smile and blush.
GEORGE:
"We kissed."
My eyes widened as my expression dropped. My cheeks heated up to shine red now.
GEORGE:
"Did you like it?"
I stopped breathing as I was frozen in shock. Before I could answer, he looked behind him then ran away, leaving me confused again.
Once he left, I heard footsteps get closer but they weren't as loud.
Nick walked up to me as he held his hands in his pockets. He lightly smiled at me.
Y/N:
"Nick." I smiled while squishing my eyebrows together.
He didn't say anything. All he did was smile at me then stepped closer.
Nick held my cheeks, making me widen my eyes as my cheeks instantly heated up, then he kissed my forehead.
I stopped breathing in shock, I couldn't help but smile out of reflex as I shut my eyes. It felt so real and it felt nice.
Then he let go of me and when I opened my eyes, he was gone, I was alone again. I turned around and scanned the empty forest.

My eyes fluttered open slowly to see my 3 best friends standing over me with pizza and ice cream cartons in their hands.
CLAY:
"Hey sleepyhead." He chuckled, "You hungry?"
Clay held up the ice cream and pizza with a smile.
I swallowed hard as I darted my eyes between the 3 of them. I could feel my blush forming.
Y/N:
"U—um..." I stuttered.
GEORGE:
"Are you okay?" His eyebrows squished together.
Y/N:
"Y—yeah..." I nervously laughed, "Just had a weird dream..."
NICK:
"Was it about the mermaids?" He joked, making us all laugh and the tension on my shoulders fade.
Y/N:
"No, it's not important..." I lied with a light smile, "Food you say?"
They smiled. Clay handed me a plate with pizza on it.
GEORGE:
"We should watch something while we eat."
CLAY:
"Let me guess, something Marvel Y/N?" He grinned, making me laugh.
Y/N:
"Well obviously."
Clay shook his head then put on my favorite Marvel movie.
George and Clay sat down next to each other on the floor. They leaned against the bed while Nick and I laid next to each other.
The 4 of us ate our pizza along with our ice cream while watching the heroes on the tv.
In the middle of the movie, I had to use the bathroom. So, I got up and walked down the hall.
When I entered, I turned on the light and was met with my reflection. I noticed my black eye along with the scar on my neck immediately, making all the pressure return to my chest as my expression fell.
Tears immediately formed in the corners of my eyes as I swallowed hard at myself. Then my eyes fell to the spot on my arm where Mr. Jay stabbed me with a needle.
My eyebrows squished together in sadness while pouting at my reflection.
Suddenly, Nick appeared behind me with a frown.
NICK:
"You okay...?" He asked nervously.
I shook my head as more tears formed in my eyes. Nick came up to me, I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck, making him wrap his arms around my waist.
I buried my head on his shoulder while shutting my eyes. He rubbed my waist gently with a frown.
NICK:
"I'm sorry..." he said quietly.
I split apart from him a little while holding his arms, he kept his hands on my waist. His eyes widened a little once he saw the tears down my cheeks.
He slowly raised his hands hesitantly to my cheeks, I nodded in response. Nick wiped my tears away gently while holding my cheeks.
It felt like the dream, it felt nice. I couldn't help but sadly smile with a blush, leaning into his touch.
Nick's eyes fell to my lips as his cheeks tinted a shade of red. Then he swallowed hard and met my eyes again.
Y/N:
"Can I tell you something...?"
He nodded with a smile, lowering his hands off my cheeks, making me feel slightly disappointed.
Y/N:
"I had a dream about you 3 again..."
His eyes widened as his smile dropped.
NICK:
"O—oh...?"
Y/N:
"Yeah...it was weird..."
NICK:
"W—what happened in it?" He scratched the back of his head nervously.
My eyes scanned over his features as I blushed. I huffed out a smile.
Y/N:
"Um...this time, I was in the woods and, you each came up to me like the dream before..."
He nodded slowly.
Y/N:
"Um...t—the other 2 weren't the ones that caught my attention the most...t—the one that caught my um, attention was you..." I nervously laughed.
His eyebrows squished together as he lightly smiled.
NICK:
"Oh...?"
Y/N:
"Y—yeah you um...you did something unexpected..." I laughed awkwardly then thought for a moment, "Y—you know what? I...I forgot."
I lied while raising my eyebrows.
NICK:
"Did we have sex or something?" He joked, making my eyes widen.
Y/N:
"Nick!" I yelled with a wide smile.
He laughed while having a darker blush on his cheeks.
Suddenly, Clay and George poked their heads in.
CLAY:
"You guys alright?"
Y/N:
"Yeah." I nodded.
GEORGE:
"We should finish the movie. I wanna sleep." He yawned.
Y/N:
"U—um...did you guys mean what you said...? You'll stay home with me all week...?"
CLAY:
"Of course, you're way more important than school." He chuckled.
I smiled at him with a blush.
NICK:
"He's right."
GEORGE:
"My parents can suck my dick."
Clay bursted out in a loud wheeze while the rest of us laughed.
GEORGE:
"Now c'mon people, let's finish the movie, I wanna sleep." He crossed his arms.
NICK:
"Uh oh, Gogy's cranky." He pouted while smiling, making all of us laugh as George rolled his eyes.
The 4 of us completed the movie and of course George fell asleep in the middle of it. He ended up falling asleep on the carpet. Clay chuckled then shut off the tv. I yawned while rubbing my eye.
NICK:
"I can sleep on the floor too." He stood up from the bed.
CLAY:
"Actually could you help me out with something real quick?" He spoke to Nick.
Nick nodded then I turned to my right side and shut my eyes to sleep.
-CLAY's POV-
Nick and I went into the hallway and shut the door.
NICK:
"If this is about Y/N, I'm sorry for—"
CLAY:
"Nick." I placed my hand on his shoulder, "I'm not mad about you and Y/N tonight."
NICK:
"You're not?" His eyebrows squished together.
CLAY:
"No," I sighed, "look...George and I had a talk the other day. And, we know that you hold back from doing anything with Y/N because you're afraid of our friendship falling apart but...one day...Y/N might choose you."
Nick swallowed hard as his cheeks became red.
CLAY:
"And...I think him and I got so lost in trying to get to first place that we forgot about the possibility of you ending up with her so...do what you want, alright?"
NICK:
"A—are you sure...?" He looked nervously at me.
CLAY:
"Yeah, I'm sure."
He breathed out in relief as he slowly nodded.
NICK:
"Thanks Clay." He smiled.
CLAY:
"No problem." I smiled back.
-GEORGE's POV-
My eyes fluttered open slowly, making me squint at the lighting. Then I felt the rough carpet below me, making me groan in annoyance.
I pushed myself up with my hands and shakily stood up with my half open eyes. I walked until I felt the bed.
I laid down immediately with my eyes closed. Then I tried grabbing a pillow to my left. Once I wrapped my arms around the warmth, I felt peaceful enough to fall asleep.
-CLAY's POV-
Once Nick and I got done talking, we walked back inside my room. When he opened the door, we froze in the doorway at what we saw.
George had his arms wrapped around Y/N's waist as he rested his head against hers. They were both fast asleep.
Nick and I exchanged a glance.
NICK:
"Guess it's no longer a Y/N-Nap night after all..." his lips curled down while staring at them.
I sighed with a frown then rested my hand on his shoulder while staring at them.
I guess this is what George meant when he said we'd pay for it.
