-Y/N's POV-
I didn't know why, but all throughout Ms. Erikson's class, I was thinking about my make out session with Nick yesterday. I kept imagining how his lips felt on mine, and how good it felt to be under him like that.
For the first time in my whole life, I was having dirty thoughts about my best friend. And I wasn't sure if I was mad about it or not.
I moved my hand on my lip to my cheek, trying to focus on Ms. Erikson's lesson, but all I could focus on was how hot my cheeks were, I knew I was blushing hard.
I definitely wanted to spend the night at his house tonight. It felt like we haven't done that in a while, and I missed him. I also missed his lips on mine, but we won't talk about that.
Eventually, class ended and once it did, I stood up, packed my belongings away then waved goodbye to Clay. Soon, I made my way to Math.
Instead of having dirty thoughts about Nick, my focus switched to George still not giving me permission to go on a date with Wilbur, making my blush fade away.
Of course, I wanted to go on a date with Wilbur. But right now, I kind of just wanted to go with the flow with my friends.
Once I walked into the classroom, I spotted George in his seat, speaking to Darryl and Jack. My feet guided me and shortly, they noticed me and said hello.
We didn't have much time to talk. Our teacher came in and began teaching immediately, which I was all for since I wanted to see Nick again.
Thankfully, class flew by like a breeze. I didn't hesitate to practically sprint out of the classroom. After all, I was excited to see my hubby.
After a few minutes, I made it to History class. I zoomed in and spotted Nick immediately. I went to him, wrapped my arms around his shoulders and squeezed him tightly. He giggled while holding my arms.
NICK:
"Someone's happy to see me." He smiled.
Y/N:
"You have no idea." I let go to sit down in my seat next to him, "Could I spend the night tonight?"
He raised his eyebrows, being surprised.
NICK:
"Yeah of course." His lips curled up farther.
Y/N:
"Good. After school, you're mine." I grinned, making him blush with another giggle.
Soon, Mr. Cohen walked in and greeted us. After a few moments, class began.
All throughout the class, I stared at Nick every chance I could get. And once Mr. Cohen's back was turned, I passed a piece of folded paper onto Nick's desk, resulting in him opening it to read what I wrote.
• NOTE •
I want this school day to pass by so badly so we can go to your house and have time alone
You look hot asf today btw :)
You know what that means /hj
Nick read my note and glanced over at me with the biggest blush. He tried concealing a giggle as he grinned hard. I couldn't help but smirk, seeing his reaction. Shortly, my hubby wrote back, passing the piece of paper back to me.
• NOTE •
Let me guess, you want to make out again? xD
And thank you :) you look hot asf today too wifey <3
I replied with a blush, then passed it back.
• NOTE •
Ofc I wanna make out again is that even a question-

Stg I want a time machine to skip forward in time bruh
The two of us passed notes back and forth all throughout the class. Mr. Cohen didn't notice once.

• NOTE •

But yes, we shall get the mickey d's :>
• NOTE •

We smiled at each other one last time before we stopped passing notes, actually paying attention to Mr. Cohen's lesson.
Once the bell rang, I got up immediately to give Nick a cheek kiss. He blushed instantly with a giggle.
NICK:
"No lip kiss?"
Y/N:
"No because my ass won't be able to control itself." I laughed, "But later we shall."
I grinned, making him giggle again.
Soon, I waved goodbye to him, then made my way to French class. When I entered the classroom, I saw Wilbur sitting down in his seat, doodling on his paper.
I went near him to take my seat and again, he ignored me for the whole class, which I was honestly glad about. All I felt like doing was talking to Nick today.
Eventually, the class ended after a while, along with lunch and the rest of my courses. Now, it was the end of the school day.
Since it was Wednesday, I realized Nick and I had the club 'Helping Hands'. This would be the first time we would ever go to it, since our senior year has been crazy.
I've wanted to go to the club with him for a while, so, I texted him to meet me in the classroom where it was being held in, and he followed through.
I walked through the door to see the familiar faces of Aimsey, Hannah, Niki, and Sylvee. They all smiled once they saw me.
HANNAH:
"No way—Y/N you're in this club too??" She squealed while going to me.
Y/N:
"Yeah. Life's been so crazy that I've never actually been able to come to this yet." I slightly chuckled.
HANNAH:
"Well you came on the perfect day! Today we're going to an elementary school to help out the little kiddos."
Y/N:
"Awe fun." I smiled.
Soon, Nick walked into the room and came over to me.
NICK:
"Hey."
Y/N:
"Hey—today we get to go help out the kids at the elementary school."
NICK:
"Oh nice." He placed his hands in his pockets with a smile.
It just hit me that I'm going to have my heart melted today by Nick. Nick was going to be helping little kids. My heart was going to overload from cuteness.
After a few minutes, some other people showed up and shortly, all the club members hopped on the bus to get to the elementary school of their choice.
Nick and I spoke with the girls on the ride there about what lesson plans we were doing, what to expect, where to go and what to do.
30 minutes later, we arrived at the elementary school. But it wasn't just an ordinary elementary school, it was our elementary school we went to together, making me smile widely.
Nick and I walked hand-in-hand once we hopped off the bus, following the other students. We entered the school, Hannah signed us all in, then we strolled down the familiar hallways, all while I had the biggest smile on my face, coming back to the best moments of my life.
Eventually, all of us made it to the classroom we were supposed to go to. When we walked into the room, we saw the faces of many 3rd graders, all looking thrilled to see us.
HANNAH:
"Hi guys!" She squealed with a wave.
Some of the children said hi back and after a few moments, all of us made it to the front of the room.
Hannah and Aimsey did most of the work. They introduced what the kids would be doing today. Today's first lesson was something wonderful.
Everyone sat down in a gigantic circle and was given a note card. They wrote their names down, including us high schoolers, then the note cards got passed around one at a time. Everybody had to write down one thing they liked about that person whose name was on the card.
Nick and I sat down next to each other while this happened. He was to the right of me. So, when the first pass around came, I was given Nick's card first.
To be honest, it was hard for me to come up with only one thing I liked about him, since I liked everything about him. So, I wrote down the word 'everything' with a heart next to it.
Soon, it was time for the cards to get passed around. We continued this all the way until we received our own card back.
I looked at my card and saw so many sweet things written on it by the kids and by my friends.
you are pwetty :)
I like your hair
cool shirt
You have nice smile
pwetty eyes!!
Those words were written several times by different people, making slight tears form in my eyes as I smiled while pouting.
Eventually, throughout all the words, I found one that had Nick's handwriting.
The request was to write down something you liked about the person whose name was on the notecard, and my hubby wrote:
Everything <3
I huffed out a smile then met his eyes. He had a huge smile on his face with tinted red cheeks. I knew he had read my answer too.
I leaned my head against his shoulder, all while feeling butterflies go crazy in my stomach. Everybody continued to read their positive compliments until it was time to do a new activity.
The next lesson was a math one. The children were passed out worksheets, and on those worksheets were butterflies. You could only color them in unless you got the problem correct.
So, the kids were off and each of the high schoolers walked around, ready to be asked questions for anyone who was confused.
One little boy raised his hand, glancing around for help. I was about to go to him when Nick beat me to it. He bent down next to him and smiled.
NICK:
"Hey buddy. Need some help?" He spoke softly to him.
The little boy nodded and pointed to the first problem.
BOY:
"I don't know..." He frowned.
NICK:
"That's okay. Math isn't my strongest subject either. Let's take a look at it together." He read the problem, "Okay tell me, what is your favorite thing in the world?"
The little boy thought for a moment, then smiled.
BOY:
"Bunny."
NICK:
"Bunnies?" He smiled, "Do you have a bunny?"
BOY:
"No." His lips curled down, "I really want one though."
NICK:
"You'll get one someday, don't give up." He smiled widely, "So, imagine you have 10 bunnies. They hop all around, they poop on your bed, they nom on their carrots like—"
Nick made a silly eating noise, making the little boy laugh.
NICK:
"And imagine, one day, 2 bunnies play hide and seek with you. You look all over, and you can't find them, but the rest of the bunnies are in front of you. How many bunnies are left?"
The little boy thought for a moment, then frowned because he didn't know the answer. Nick understood immediately.
NICK:
"How about we draw the bunnies?" He flipped over the piece of paper then grabbed the little boys markers, "We got a red bunny, a pink bunny, a green bunny..."
He drew each bunny in 10 different colors.
NICK:
"Look at all the bunnies. Which one is your favorite?" He smiled at him.
The little boy pointed to the red one.
NICK:
"Hey, that's my favorite one too!"
The little boy giggled.
NICK:
"Now, let's say the green bunny and blue bunny went to go play hide and seek under the bed. So..." Nick drew a red bed then drew arrows, making the green and blue bunnies go under it, "Now that those 2 bunnies are gone, how many are left? Let's count."
Nick pointed to each bunny while the boy counted to 8.
NICK:
"So how many bunnies are left?"
BOY:
"8!"
NICK:
"Good job!" He smiled widely then flipped back over the paper, "So the answer is 8. Now, you can color in the butterfly."
Nick handed the little boy the red marker and soon, the child colored in the first butterfly, slightly getting outside the lines.
NICK:
"Good job." He held up his hand for a high five, and the boy slapped his palm, making them both laugh.
Seeing how Nick acted around kids has now warmed my heart, and melted it completely. I couldn't erase my smile.
I knew now that if I picked Nick, I could see us having a son. And he'd be the best father.
