Mary then spoke, of course, the leader of the hunters.

"Mr Subedar, what about us? This manor itself is what keeps us "alive"..."

Naib sighed.

"Does this manor look magical to you? A house doesn't do shit. The people who rule it do. Nightingale and whoever she's working for, are the ones who are keeping you safe and sound. That's why, we will make sure she doesn't die. She doesn't have a choice."

Mary smiled softly.

"Thank you. For helping us, that is."

"Don't mention it. You didn't have a choice but to attack us, so we don't blame you. And I believe you wouldn't want to do that now, either. That's why we're doing this."

"Mr Subedar, yall are dumb."

"Oh shut up, stripper. We literally don't have any other options."

"But Mr Subedaaaarrrr this might be our last night togetheeeerrr... we should savor it properly-"

"I'm not gonna fuck you."

"Well fuck you, then!"

"JACK!"

"Is Demi here, already?"

"I'm here!!!" Demi screamed, leaving the big doors of the manor with Sam and her bags.

"Are we all here?" Luca asked, as he looked around the front gate.

"29 survivors, 20 hunters, and 1 baby. We are all here except for one." Mary told him.

The night was chilly. Damn, you could even assume it would start raining at some point. Patricia, Emma, and Andrew, had just walked around the whole manor, to make sure every corridor had at least a bit of gasoline. It all met up at the front gate, right before Ganji, who held a match in his right hand.

"Who's missing?? We have to do this quickly, or Nightingale will come look for us soon!"

Everyone looked around, searching for whoever was missing.

__________

Naib left his room in a rush, bags in hands.

I never thought burning a manor would give this much work, damn it. Since when do I have these many clothes???

He stopped on his tracks to look around. He's been living here for almost 7 years now. He would miss this, not gonna lie. Those were probably the best years of his life. He turned off the lights and closed the door of his no longer room, letting only the moonlight shine through the big windows in the hallway.

And now, it's time to say farewell.

Isn't it weird? She's a psycho, I don't understand Nightingale. She comes at us because she doesn't want us to contact with the outside world, but then she gives us the opportunity to just leave. Couldn't she be anymore indecisive...
