Beyond the Hate List

I started writing this story in 2016, and it has been ongoing since then. After 37 chapters, I never got the chance to continue it, even though it was already close to the ending. To be honest, I don’t even know why I stopped writing it.

I tried going back to this story, rereading the chapters to catch up on the details, hoping I could finally continue. But it took me nearly NINE YEARS to find the drive to unfold the rest of the story.

It hasn’t been easy. I wrote this when I was younger, and reconnecting with the momentum and emotions of the story after all these years was a challenge. But as I read through the previous chapters, something clicked... I knew it was time to finish it. The emotions of the characters came rushing back, and I finally saw the ending that felt right for them and for the story itself.

When I started writing, especially my Taglish novels, readers and writers weren’t as critical or strict as they are now. Back then, we wrote purely for fun, for self-expression, or simply to pour out our emotions. And I think that’s what I miss the most, writing just because it makes me happy.

So if you're looking for stories that are perfectly polished and technically flawless, this isn’t the place for you. Haha! My writing carries the touch of early e-book stories- raw, unfiltered, and without meticulous proofreading. But one thing I can say for sure: I always pour my heart into my characters and my stories, and I hope you’ll feel that as you read.

I’m proud to say that I’ve completed two Filipino novels here on 抖阴社区: When A Fan Falls In Love and Beyond The Hate List. Both were written with so much love and effort, and I’m grateful to the amazing readers who have supported them. I’ve also posted my first-ever English novel, Along The Shadow, with characters inspired by Stray Kids members.

And this is just the beginning, I still have so many stories I want to share with you. Thank you for being here, and I hope we’ll see each other again in my future works. 🤍
