Finding Myself

" Isabella!!"

I run out of the bedroom and heard him sternly calling my name , I didn't wanna be taken away from him or miss out on seeing Samuel again

But I can't run away ....

Luke pov

I run towards where I thought she ran to ...the living room , I find her in the corner of the room crying

" Isabella"

She doesn't answer ,she had her knees up and her arms covering them while crying , I know what this is about , she's afraid to be taken away

" Isabella ,honey ,you don't have to worry about anything ok , your mine to keep safe and no one can take you from me ok , we are just gonna go to my work and you can do stuff in my office ,no one will care if you are there , just stay out of their way "

She looks up and wipes her tears on her sweatshirt

" You really sure about that ?" She asks

" Yes sweetie " I say as I help her off the floor

" Now ,go get the things you think you might need and come back down stairs" I say

" Ok ,I'll be right back " and with that she's up the stairs ,gathering what she needs for the day

I worry about her and wish I can take all the bad things that have happened to her away , but there is no way to go back in the past , so I am gonna try my very best to make life the best for her

" Ok umm I'm ready now " she says as she gets her shoes on

" Ok kiddo ,let's go , it'll be fun I promise" ........

Isabella pov

We made it to his office and I sat down on the couch ( yes his office is big ) I look around , everything is kept clean and organized and there was a coffee maker in the corner next to the couch and also a jar full of candy on his desk ,

" You can do whatever you want , but don't do anything to annoy others and stay out of the way ok ?" Luke says

" Yeah ok "

I wandered around the office for awhile , then I started to get bored ,so I went out of his office and further explored ,it was such a big building

" Isabella stay close !" I heard Luke yell

" I am "I said back

But I kept going farther ,soon enough I lost my way back , did I go left ? Or did I go right ? Man I'm in trouble

Just then a man passes me

" Umm uh sir?" I ask

" Oh hey there ,what you doing here all alone ?"

" I uh umm maybe got lost "

" Well did you just wander in here ,or is your father here?"

" Ummm Luke is here " I say not knowing if I should call Luke my dad because in reality he wasn't

" Ohhhh ok ,I think I know who you are , your Isabella right?"

" Yes sir "

" Ok ,well he was supposed to leave an hour ago , let's go see if he's still here , I'm sure he's looking for you now "

I start to follow him with dread in my stomach , was I in trouble? Is he going to be mad ?

We made it to the office and the man opened the closed door but Luke wasn't there

" Ok , I'm going to go look around for him ,but you stay here ,ok?"

" Ok " I go in his office and wait

After like 10 minutes Luke comes through the door looking angry and concerned

" Are you ok ?" He asks

" Yes I am , I didn't know I was....

But he cut me off because he walked over to me and turned me around and smacked me two times on my backside

" Don't ever do that again , now gather your things , we're going home "

I start to gather my things , tears threatening to break through , but I don't want people seeing me cry

We walk through the building with Luke holding my arm and we walked outside ,once we made it to the truck he opened the door and lifted me up to put me in the seat

" Buckle up " he said and closed the door and walked over to his side

To be honest I didn't hear what he said because I was to stressed worried that he might spank me when we get home

" Isabella I said buckle up , do you need a spanking ,because all day it seems like you want to disobey me ?"

" No ,I'm sorry " I say as I quietly buckle up

" Ok then , please listen to me , I tell you what to do ,to keep you safe Isabella , I dont want anything to happen to you , you had me worried sick when I had to look for you , it reminded me of the two days I spent looking for you , please don't ever do that again !"

" Yes sir "

We drive in silence for the rest of the way , once we made it home ,I unbuckled and by the time I opened the door ,Luke was there and he lifted me down and held my arm til we got inside

" Go take a shower and come down for dinner please " he said

" Yes sir " I said but I really wanted to ask a question so I turned around from going up the stairs

" Luke?"

" Yes?"

" Are you going to spank me ?"

" Have you learned your lesson?"

" Yes yes " I say not wanting a spanking and hoping I'll remember to not wander away

" Ok we will see , for now go shower and come down for dinner "

" Ok" I go up to shower , and get in warm clothes and head downstairs for dinner

We ate dinner quietly until Luke spoke

" Isabella , i have thought long and hard about this and so I have decided"

" What ?" I ask

" I have decided that while I'm gone at work ,you need a babysitter ,so I have found one , he's mature and will take great care of you , he has shown nothing else but that "

" Who is he ?" I ask

" Samuel"........
