Finding Myself

The next day I woke up and got ready for the day ,wearing a crop top shirt and jeans and a sweatshirt, it was chilly today , but I still wanna look decent

After I went through the fridge to find an ice cream ,I went to go watch TV

Samuel wasn't gonna be here till 8;00 ,so no one will know I had ice cream for breakfast

Honestly I was concerned for Samuel,I really hope he's ok. I didn't mean to push him to far , but I did , I wonder if he's still upset with me

I was done eating my ice cream sandwich and I put the wrapper on the table by the couch and grabbed the remote to change the channel

Knock knock

This can't be Samuel ,it isn't even 8:00 yet ?

I go to the door and peek through the hole , yup it was Samuel alright ,but what was he doing here early?

I open the door and let him in , we both felt alittle ackward so we just stood around for a bit

" Good morning" he said

" Umm yeah good morning"

" What have you been up to ?" He asks

" Uh nothing much " I say

Oh no ! I left my ice cream wrapper on the table ! I have to go throw it away

" So umm I gotta go use the bathroom I'll be right back " I say

" Ok ,I'll just go in the living room , maybe we can watch a movie,sense it's to cold outside today " he said

" No! I mean yes , but umm I made a mess , let me go clean it real quick ,then you can come " I say

" Isabella I've seen messes before , you do know that the kids I sat for aren't clean kids , they make messes "

" Still just wait here I'll be right back " I run in the living room and grab the wrapper and crushed it in my hand and was about to go throw it away but Samuel walks in ,so I hid my hand behind my back and played cool

" Let me see what mess your talking about " he says

" Umm ,there's no mess and there was not enough time to clean it in three seconds ? Are you hiding something Isabella?"

" Haha, why would you think that , umm I gotta go to the bathroom, I'll be right back " I say

" Isabella , if your hiding something,it's best to say now ,instead of me finding out later "

Ok maybe I should just confess

" Ok you catch me " I say as I held out my hand

" Ohh I see ,you had ice cream for breakfast" he says

" Yes , please don't be mad at me and please don't tell Luke " I beg

" You knew it was wrong but still did it " he said more to himself then out loud

" I know ,and I'm sorry ok "

" I would let it slide,but Luke says he can't get you to eat much , but now your eating ice cream ? I know it's tempting ,but you should of had breakfast first " he says

" I'm sorry " I say with my head down

" It's ok , but you have to eat breakfast , let's go " he says motioning with his hand for me to follow him to the kitchen

"What do you want ?" He asks once we make it there

" Nothing ,I'm not hungry " I complain

" Well if you have room for ice cream ,you have room for real food , now come on tell me what you want , or I'll just make you something and you have to eat it " he says

" Ugh your so bossy "

" No Isabella , I'm saving you from getting in trouble with Luke "

" You could just not tell him " I say with pleading eyes

" Eat , end of discussion" he says as he grabs stuff from the fridge

" Ughhhhhh fine " I say

He makes eggs and buttered toast and puts it in front of me

" Eat everything on that plate ,then we can go do something together,but all the food on your plate has to be eaten" he says

" Stop treating me like a child "

" Then stop acting like one" he says

I just pout at him ,til he points at my food and says "eat"

Ugh i pick up my fork and stab some eggs and eat them ,umm they weren't that bad ,they were actually pretty good and I shouldn't be causing trouble , so I eat everything on my plate

" Good job!" Samuel praises me

I smile

" Now can we just go and do stuff together?"

I hated being treated like a kid ,but I knew he was just doing his " job"

" Yes "

The whole rest of the day was perfect and I made sure not to bring up anything about his past , I didn't wanna upset him

We sat on the couch after a long day and he surprised me by saying ..

" So about yesterday, I am sorry I got upset and didn't tell you , but I think I'm ready to tell you now".......
