Finding Myself

Luke's pov

I walked through the door to be met with silence , that's weird?

" Guys I'm home!"

No answer ...

I walk towards the living room to see the tv on but it's muted and they were both on the couch sound asleep , Isabella's head was leaning on Samuels shoulder and Samuel had his head leaning on her , they looked so cute all cuddled on the couch sleeping

I stand there for a second just watching them ,when I decide to go up and take a shower

It was a long day , I also have been looking for any kind of file I can find of Isabella ,it will tell me her birth date and some stuff about her past ,that she won't tell me .

I let the hot water hit my skin ,it felt nice after the stressful day I had at work ,it felt long and I wanted to just be home with Isabella, I'm glad she's getting along with Samuel, it made my day walking in and seeing them like that on the couch

I needed Isabella in my life ,and I never knew it til I found her that one day , my life has changed for the better , but I'm missing one thing  ..

A girlfriend, I wanna have a wife ,but I need to meet one first , but I know it will be hard on Isabella, because I won't be giving her all my attention,she's gonna have to share

But that probably won't be for awhile

I walk downstairs to see that they were still sleeping , what wore them out so much?

I wanted to take Isabella and Samuel out for dinner ,so I have to wake them up

" Samuel, Isabella"

They move alittle ,like their getting comfortable

"Kiddos time to wake up"

This time they open their eyes and when they see me they quickly move off each other , I chuckle on the inside

" Hey guys ,you wanna go out for dinner tonight?" I ask

" Yes yes " Isabella says

" Your taking me?" Samuel asks

" Of course ,you are family after all " I say

I don't like it when he thinks he's a bother ,or when he thinks that I don't care about him

" Come on get ready and we will stop by your house ,so you can change Samuel" I say

" Yay" Isabella runs upstairs to change

" No running please !" I shout after her

Samuel looks at me

" You really wanna take me ?"

" Buddy ,your coming rather you like it or not " I tease him and he smiles

After Isabella comes down ,we head to Samuels house so he can change ,he heads inside and not two minutes later he runs out

" I told Nana that we are going out , she said have fun and that she's to tired to come "

After he told me that he jumped in the truck and we headed to the diner

After we ordered and ate half our food I asked how their day went and they both started talking at once

I just smiled and watched them stumble over each other's words

surprisingly Isabella ate all her food ,so once we finished I paid the check and we left

We pulled into Samuels driveway first

" Thanks Luke ,for dinner and everything" he says

"No ,thank you for watching Isabella today " I say

He walks inside and watch him

" I love him as my babysitter, don't ever get me someone else ok " Isabella said from the back

I laugh alittle

" Ok sweetie "

Just before I was about to pull out , Samuel comes running out of the house

I roll down my window

" What's wrong Samuel?"

" It's Nana!!!!"

" What happened!" I jump out the car and start to the house ,with both the kids following

" I came inside and she's on the floor not breathing!" He yells as he cry's uncontrollably tears ....
