Pops is laughing as he chases a butterfly with a jar. He jumps up into the air, but it keeps on flying. The butterfly lands on a bush. Pops comes up from behind the bush. He's about to catch it when... "Come on! You know that's not the way you're supposed to do it!" Benson shouted. The butterfly Pops almost caught flies away. Benson, (Y/n), Mordecai and Rigby are seen by a shrub holding a chainsaw. "Well, this way is totally faster." Mordecai said. "Yeah, cuts the time in half." Rigby said. "But you're actually cutting it in half!" (Y/n) shouted. "Exactly, you idiots!" The chainsaw fails to start. "Great, you managed to break the saw in the process!" (Y/n) shouted. Annoyed, Pops walks away. "Now we're gonna have to buy a new one!" Benson shouted.
Later in the garden Pops is drawing a rose on a notebook. He's on the stem, when... "What are you guys doing?!" (Y/n) shouted. Pops draws a line in the wrong place. "Soda?! You can't use soda!" (Y/n) shouted. "Yeah, but the hose." Mordecai said. "Oh, what? It's too hard to get the hose off the shed?!" Benson asked. Pops looks on as he draws. "Unbelievable!" Benson shouted. "Well, at least it's diet. Nobody drinks that." Rigby said. "I drink diet!" Benson shouted. Pops angrily scribbles his drawing and grunts angrily and walks away in anger and frustration.
"Not only did you guys ruin the hose..." (Y/n) began. Later Pops is in his office, playing with army men. "Okay, men, this is the hour of our prominence. On my signal, charge! Whooaaa.." "You've GOT to be kidding me!" (Y/n) shouted. Pops lays back, making a very irritated expression. Outside, the golf cart is scratched up, and Mordecai is holding wood. "Give me that. What is this, SANDPAPER?!" Benson asked. (Y/n) looks at the cart. "You're scratching up the whole thing!" She shouted. "Benson, (Y/n)," Pops' head is seen coming out of the office.
"Would you come see me for a moment please?" He asked. "Awwooohhh, somebody's busted!" The duo shouted. "Oh, grow up." (Y/n) said. The duo start rapping. "B-b-b-busted, Benson's b-b-busted!" The duo said. (Y/n) sighs. "What is it, Pops? We're in the middle of something." She said. "Have a seat." The two sit down and Benson sighs. "Do you know why I called you both in here?" Pops asked. "Did you lose the colonel again? Try under your hat." Benson said.
Pops sees the colonel under hat, then puts the army men in a drawer. "It's a problem concerning Mordecai and Rigby." Pops said. "What else is new?" (Y/n) asked sarcastically. "Don't worry, Pops. I'll take care of it. That is my job." She said. "Then we understand each other?" Pops asked. "Absolutely. I've already warned them—one more screw up, and they're both fired." Benson said. "But... Benson, I was referring to you two." Pops said. "What?" They asked in sync. "I'd like you both to stop yelling at Mordecai and Rigby." Pops said.
"What?" (Y/n) asked again in shock. "You're kidding." Benson said. "Quite the opposite. It's too negative and bad for morale." Pops said. "What morale? I need to yell at those guys sometimes, I mean yeah, they're my best friends, but sometimes they make really stupid decisions." (Y/n) said. "There's never a reason to yell at anyone." Pops said. "That's not really true Pops, there can be multiple reasons to yell at someone. Like when someone does something wrong, or if someone never listens to you, or if someone's just being a jerk." (Y/n) said.
"Yeah, those two give us a million reasons everyday. Pfft, you just want us to be nice to them?" Benson asked. "You don't have to be nice—just don't yell." Pops said. Benson sighs. "Listen, Pops, I appreciate the concern, but I know how to do my job." (Y/n) said. "(Y/n), I think it's clear that my father puts me in charge of running the park when he's not around, right?" Pops asked. "Yes, but—" (Y/n) began. "And that means you must do what I say?" Pops asked. "Technically, but I—" Benson said. "And I am ordering you both to stop yelling at Mordecai and Rigby." Pops said.
Benson sighs and (Y/n) looks at him with concern. "(Y/n)," Pops said softly and she turns to him. "Uh... yes?" She asked nervously. "You are their best friend, right?" Pops asked. "Yeah..." she said. "So maybe you can get them to listen to Benson more without him having to yell." Pops said. "I... it doesn't work like that. Sure, they're my best friends but that doesn't mean they listen to me all the time. In fact, the reason Benson had to yell at them earlier today was because they chose NOT to listen to me." (Y/n) said.
