? Benevolence ?

Soon enough, winter break came to an end and we were back in class with only three months left in the school year. It's hard to believe it's almost over but at the same time, it feels like it's been a life time.

"Happy New Year, my fellow classmates!" Iida's energetic voice fills the room. "For today's class, you'll be giving practical reports on your internships. Be prepared to share what you've learned through your experiences. Now, let's suit up and head to Ground Alpha!"

Just as he finishes, the classroom door slams open and Aizawa steps into the room.

"Stop talking and get moving."

I start to follow the rest of the class out of the room with my costume but before I step through the door, I hesitate and turn to Aizawa.

"Dad, I..."

I freeze, trailing off at the slip up. There's no way I can figure out how to play it off. A faint blush creeps up my face and I drop my gaze.

Aizawa either doesn't notice or doesn't care, not even glancing up from the papers he's gathering from his desk.

"Yes?"

"I- uh, I w-wanted to thank you for the helmet thing..."

"No need. If you struggle to take care of yourself, it's my job as your guardian to make sure you can. Show your gratitude by remaining relatively healthy and unharmed."

"I, uh- okay."

He glances up from his desk, stilling his hands for a moment. "By the way, Eri wants to know when you'll come over again. She misses you."

"Oh, um, I can come over later today after class... if that's okay?"

"Of course it's okay. You're welcome to come by anytime for whatever reason. You know that, right?"

"...right. Thank you-"

"Stop thanking me and go get suited up."

"Yes, sir."

As I make my way down the hall to catch up with my classmates, the intercom comes on for a moment. "Aizawa-sensei. Please report to the faculty office."

I wonder for a moment what it could be for but it quickly slips my mind as I enter the changing room to find chaos.

"Bakugou, what are you doing?!"

"This is bad! His grey matter is oozing out!"

"Midoriya!!"

I pause in the doorway, letting out a quiet sigh at their antics but I can't stop myself from smiling as I take in the moment. I had missed hanging out with everyone all together even if it resulted in this. A second passes before I fully step into the room, letting the door fall shut behind me.

Before long, we found ourselves standing before All Might at Ground Alpha only...

"I... AM... MAKING COTTON CANDY!"

Nobody speaks.

Then, after a long moment, I raise my hand.

"Um, All Might, sir? Where's Aizawa sensei?"

The hero frowns at my question.

"How are you guys just gonna ignore my allmighty gag like that? I was pretending to say 'I am here'." When nobody replies, he lets out a sigh. "Due to an emergency situation, he had to leave just a few moments ago."

With that explaination, we moved on with our day and we began to take turns giving practical reports of what we learned during our internships. I found myself in awe at all that my classmates learned. They all grew so much stronger and figured out new ways to apply their quirks. It was amazing and before long, it was Todoroki, Bakugou, Midoriya, and I's turn.

Bakugou steps up first, eager to show what he could do. "Increasing potential power!"

Todorki joins him. "And Speed."

I can't help but watch their display with a bright smile. Midoriya follows their lead and I take the moment to share what I learned.

"Enviromental awareness... and this."

I look up and activate my quirk. Just like all the times before, I find myself among the clouds. For just a moment, I'm suspended in space, free to take in everything. I can see it all.

The entirety of Ground Alpha.

The other training grounds.

Even the school.

All of it is within my sight.

The moment seems to stretch on forever but its over in a second and then I'm falling. There's a distant chorus of gasps from far below and I can't even bother to fight back my proud smile. Wanting to show off, just a bit like the others did, I plummet just a second longer then usual and let myself spin through the air. Then I pop to the top of the wall surrounding Ground Alpha. It takes them a moment to spot me but when they do I hear some of them cheer excitedly.

Popping back down, I explain. "I call it Sky Hopping. I can see just about everything for miles around. It's really useful for patrols and observation."

Kirishima lets out a laugh and grins. "I'm gonna be honest, I was kinda nervous when I saw you up there at first."

"Tell me about it." Bakugou grumbles. "Bastard didn't even warn us about it the first time he tried it out."

I feel my cheeks flush. "I said I was sorry."

A few of the others laugh and Mina raises her hand. "Isn't it kind of scary? You were super high up!"

"It was at first but... honestly it's kind of fun now." I grin sheepishly. "It's freeing almost."

Kaminari begins to ask a question but stops himself as All Might makes his way over to address us. "You all seem to have been educated well. I recorded it all and will pass it onto Aizawa! Keep going and work hard at your internships! Grow even more."

I'm really sorry its been so long.
I kind of just lost motivation but I've recently regained just a bit.
No idea how long it'll last but here's a new chapter for you all.

Also, I don't know if this will be upsetting but I have been reading all the comments posted to this day.
I felt bad since I saw so many people asking for an update but I just had no energy to provide it.

I am so so so thankful for every single one of you. I cherish every comment I get with all my heart.
