"Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the sentence on the board?! Come on! Where's your pep?! It's like I'm teaching 20 Shoutas!"

Present Mic whined, desperate to gain some form of class interaction. I glanced around and was greeted with a sea of unimpressed looks.

After yesterday's security breach, correcting the placement of adverbs felt like the least exciting thing to do. I had heard that it was only the press that got in but I had a feeling it couldn't be that simple. Still, school went on.

During lunch, Shinso didn't talk as much and mostly listened to me ramble about various first aid techniques.

"How do you know this much?" He questioned after I finished explaining the proper treatment for burns.

"Oh, my mom is a trauma nurse and there are tons of medical books at the house from when she went to university."

Smiling, I continued, "I've always been kinda interested in healing so I just absorbed as much information as I could. It's a really nice way to help people, too."

He nodded slowly. "Do you think you could teach me some first aid?" He looked off to the side, rubbing his neck.

A grin lit up my face. "Yeah! Of course! I've always believed that basic first aid is important knowledge for everyone!"

He glanced at me with a quiet hum before passing me his phone. "We should probably have each other's numbers."

I quickly typed in my number, before sending a text to myself.

"Yeah, maybe we could meet up sometimes. I know the books have some diagrams to explain things better," I passed his phone back with a soft smile.

He nodded in agreement. The rest of lunch passed quickly and soon enough we parted ways.

Upon reaching class, Mr. Aizawa announced that today's hero training would be on rescue! I plan on specializing as a rescue hero so I was ecstatic.

He explained that we were going by bus to an off campus facility and could choose whether or not to wear our costumes.

I opted to wear mine as I had designed it prioritizing rescue work. Iida, eager to live up to his new role as class rep after Midoriya passed on the torch, ordered us to sit by our id numbers. He was dismayed to find the bus layout was different than intended and his whole plan was tossed aside.

I ended up sitting beside Todoroki. We haven't been formally introduced but it's impossible to not know the names of most of the class at this point. He closed his eyes as soon as the bus began moving and I tuned into the conversation in the front.

"-You wanna talk strong and cool? That'd be Todoroki and Bakugou."

Midoriya nodded in agreement before adding, "[L/n] has a really neat quirk, too. He'd be an awesome rescue hero!"

I blushed lightly at the comment.

"He's pretty nice, too, which always helps out going pro. Bakugou's unhinged so he'd never be popular." Atsui quipped.

"WHAT'D YOU SAY, FROG FACE?!" Bakugou roared, standing up.

The rest of the ride passed quickly with some banter mostly aimed at a certain explosive blonde.

"We're here," Mr. Aizawa announced gruffly.

After entering the building, we were greeted by the space hero, Thirteen. I bounced on the balls of my feet excitedly. Aspiring to be a rescue hero myself, they were easily one of my favorite pros.

They explained how they built this facility and dubbed it 'The Unforeseen Simulation Joint' or rather USJ.

As Thirteen and Aizawa spoke to the side for a moment, I looked around the facility in awe. It had an oddly similar layout to Universal Studios Japan. Turning back to the class, Thirteen began to express the danger some quirks possess.

"In this class, you will learn to utilize your quirk to save lives." He continued before bowing. "That is all. I thank you all for listening!"

Mr. Aizawa began to address us when suddenly a strange black mist started to appear in front of the fountain.

"Huddle up and don't move! Thirteen, protect the students!"

The typically tired hero, now wide awake and on guard, as if a switch was flipped.

Kirishima frowned, "What the heck? More bots like the entrance exam?"

Taking a stance in front of the class, Mr. Aizawa pullled on his glasses. "Don't move. Those are villains!"

I felt panic flood my system as countless villains poured out of the portal. I could hear the others talking but it was as if they were speaking underwater. My mind was reeling at the situation at hand.

Seeing our teacher leap down the steps to fight, I snapped out of my thoughts. Now was a terrible time to freeze up and panic. I needed to stay focused.

Thirteen began to lead us to the doors when the misty portal appeared in front of us, taking the shape of a villain.

"Greetings," he drawled, "We are the League of Villains. Today, we've come to end the life of All Might, Symbol of Peace." My breath caught in my chest. The villain continued, "We were under the impression that he would be here... No matter, my role remains unchanged."

Before I knew what was happening, Bakugou and Kirishima rushed toward the mist man. I flinched as the sound of Bakugou's explosion.

"Not if we stop you first! Betcha didn't see that coming!" Kirishma shouted.

Thirteen yelled, "Get back! Both of you!"

I popped over to them with the intent of moving them away when the mist suddenly whirled around us.

"BEGONE! WRITHE IN TORMENT!" He bellowed.

As the mist swallowed us, I suddenly found myself falling. I hit the ground with a quiet grown before quickly pushing myself onto my knees.

I spotted Kirishima and Bakugou to my left. I stood up and looked around, freezing at the sight of villains.

"Well, well, looks like we've got a few playmates." A man with horns chuckled quietly.

I locked eyes with Kirishima and he gestured to get closer.

I popped beside the redhead and prepared myself.

Bakugou grinned at the man, "You wanna play, huh? PLAY WITH THIS!"

Kicking off the ground, he dashed to the villain and suddenly the battle had begun.
