"Can I have a kiss?"

"Of course!"

I smile, leaning forward only to jolt back in surprise when my door suddenly slams open to reveal my friends.

"I TOLD YOU THEY WERE KISSING!" Kaminari practically screeches, barely held back by Kirishima. The redhead gives me an apologetic look while Bakugou simply glares at Hitoshi.

"...what?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT?! HE KISSED YOU! HE'S GONNA CORRUPT YOU OR-"

"I asked for a kiss, you moron. A Hershey's kiss?" Hitoshi holds up the candy I just gave him with a deadpan and Kaminari falls silent. "And you're one to talk about corruption. Who peer pressured him into cursing, huh?"

Kaminari squawks and I clear my throat to get everyone's attention. "Um, why were you guys listening?"

Kaminari drops his head, mumbling.

"Huh?"

"...I said we were making sure he didn't corrupt you or anything."

"Corrupt me?" I cock my head, thoroughly confused.

"You're so pure! We gotta protect you!"

"...protect me from kisses?"

"Yeah!"

"Kaminari, if I want to kiss my boyfriend, I will."

In some act of defiance, I turn to face Hitoshi and lean forward to peck him on the lips before anyone can respond.

It's completely silent and when I look up, I watch Hitoshi's face turn ten different shades of red. From the doorway, there's a dramatic gasp followed by a thump and a pained wheeze. When nobody speaks, I give Hitoshi a questioning look for clarification.

"...Th-that," he clears his throat, "...that was actually our first kiss."

"Oh."

I feel a blush creeping up my face at the revelation and Kirishima speaks up sheepishly from behind me.

"I am so sorry for this."

When the door clicks shut, I drop my head to my hands, embarrassed. I'm pulled forward into an embrace and a hand runs through my hair. I stutter out a quiet apology and I feel Hitoshi shake his head.

"There's nothing to be sorry for, it's fine. I just wasn't expecting it. I... um," he clears his throat again. "I liked it."

I peek up from my hands and he meets me eyes, still blushing slightly. My voice is quiet when I respond.

"...can I kiss you again?"

He nods, blush brightening but leans forward until our lips meet. It's short and sweet, tasting slightly of the chocolate we've been eating. Hitoshi pulls back and presses our foreheads together, humming quietly.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that."

I let my eyes slip shut, a smile playing on my lips. "I think I do."
