Watching him walk ahead of us, I suppose he does seem a lot stronger compared to when we met. I tear my gaze from him once I realize I'm staring. He's probably just working out for the next sports festival.

Soon, we find ourselves at Ground Beta and the principal goes on about proper hair upkeep related to sleep. I listen closer once he moves on.

"What's thrown my lifestyle out of wack is the 'incident' you all know about, the one that happened this summer. The loss of our pillar. The effects of that incident have begun to manifest even faster than one could imagine.

Moving forward, our society likely awaits great difficulties. Those of you in the Department of Heroes will likely see the most striking effects.

And for the hero internships that many of you second and third years are engaged with, even more so than ever, it is critical to have an awareness of the crisis and conduct yourselves accordingly."

Hero internships...? Before I can think too hard on it, he continues.

"My apologies for bringing down the mood with such a heavy topic.

But know that right now, the adults are out there doing the best they can do deal with it.

And I would like nothing else than for you all to develop into individuals who will take over their efforts.

All of you, whether from the U.A. staff, The General Department, The Department of Support, or The Department of Heroes. Do not forget that you are successors to this society.

Now, a few words from HoundDog-sensei in lifestyle guidance."

I'm startled when he takes to the microphone, growls and barks covering his words. I couldn't make out anything. Class B's homeroom teacher talks with him quietly before translating.

"Uh... 'While there has been befitting behavior in the dorms, such as that of two students involved in a fight last night, please conduct yourselves according'... is what he said."

We're then dismissed back to class where Aizawa-sensei is waiting. He's reading a file as he begins.

"Well then... starting today, we'll be resuming our normal classroom activities. I know you've all been through a lot, but now is the time to renew yourselves."

He goes on to explain that training will only get tougher from here on out, despite today being limited to classroom lectures. He's interrupted as Asui raises her hand.

"Sensei? I was wondering if you could tell us more about the hero internships mentioned in the opening ceremony."

"Put simply, they're hero activities done off campus. Think of it like a more formalized version of the field training you did before." He brushes a strand of his hair back.

Uraraka suddenly jumps up. "What was the point of all the struggles we went through during the sports festival then?!"

"The hero internships are an opportunity to make use of the connections you made at the sports festival. They aren't linked to classes at all, rather managed at the discretion of the students themselves." He glances around before continuing.

"That being said, if you made no such connections at the sports festival, I imagine it'd be very difficult to participate in such activities. Because you have your licenses now, you are now eligible to participate in these activities."

I find myself excited at the idea of working with heroes after classes. I'm torn from my thoughts as Aizawa-sensei stands up.

He sighs quietly. "I've got some matters to attend to. All right... sorry to keep you waiting... Mic."

At his words, the door slams open and Present Mic enters the room grinning. "ENGLISH!! ITS MY TIME NOW!! MY LONG AWAITED RETURN TO THE STAGE!!"

A smile works its way onto my face as Mic takes over and first period begins.

Its nice to have normal classes again...
