I woke up to pale sunlight shining through the windows, still on the couch. A light throb echoed through my head as I groggily sat up.
Yesterday's fights were a little spotty in my memory but I distinctly remember the flash of pain from Iida's kick. I stretched lightly before checking my phone to see 2 messages from Kirishima.

Moments after receiving the text, a knock echoed through my house. I opened the door to see Kirishima and Kaminari grinning brightly.
"Hey [L/n]! Ya ready?"
I laughed lightly, gesturing for them to come inside. "I just woke up, let me change real fast."
As the two boys bounded in, Kirishima began apologizing. "Sorry! We were heading to the mall and your place is on the way so we wanted to invite you."
I smiled reassuringly, "It's really fine. I'll be right back, sit tight."
Leaving the two teens in the living room, I dashed into my room to change.
In a clean set of clothes, I came back to the living room to see my two friends looking through one of the many medical books scattered around the apartment.
Kirishima looked up as I walked back into the room. "You've got a lot of first aid books. Still up for giving some lessons sometime?"
With a gentle smile, I ran a hand through my hair. "Yeah, definitely."
Kaminari bounced on the balls of his feet, "Do you know anything about first aid for injuries caused by electricity?"
I nodded, pointing to my room. "Yeah, I've got a book with a whole chapter for that kinda stuff."
His eyes gained a determined light, "Could you teach later? Just cause I could accidentally shock someone and I would at least wanna be able to do something..." He trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Of course, I can give you guys a few lessons when we get back if you want."
Both boys agreed enthusiastically before we set out for the mall.
The air was just chilly enough to be comfortable as we ambled down the sidewalk, my two companions rambling about various topics. I felt a soft smile creep onto my face as I watched Kaminari gesturing wildly, trying to prove a point.
"Come on! It's so accurate though!" The energetic blonde turned to me, desperation in his eyes. "[L/n]! You know whats up! Doesn't Bakugou seem like a chihuahua?"
I laughed loudly, "I don't know, man. Maybe more of a pomeranian?"
Kirishima crossed his arms and chuckled. "Why do you both go for small dogs? He's not even short!" He tossed his hands up exasperated.
"Small dogs just give off this vibe!" Kaminari exclaimed.
Soon enough we arrived at the mall and Kirishima immediately dragged us into a shoe store, insisting we all get crocs.
"They're perfect for almost all weather!" He explained with the brightest smile I had ever witnessed. Neither Kaminari or I had the heart to say no and left the store with a pair each. The blonde chose an electric yellow while I settled for [f/c].
We wandered around the mall for awhile before deciding to get lunch from the food court. Once seated, I ate while listening to the other boys talk about anything and everything. I zoned out a little, watching the two interact. They smiled so bright and warm. I found myself feeling lucky to know them.
After finishing, we decided to walk around a little more. Suddenly Kirishima gasped and took off. Skidding to a stop ahead of us, the redhead grinned brilliantly.
"Hey! Bakubro!"
Kaminari and I were surprised to see Bakugou and someone who appeared to be his mom with him.
We wandered up to the three of them nervously. The ashy blonde's mom(?) was talking.
"Oh Katsuki never told me he made any friends! It's lovely to meet you! I'm Mitsuki, his mother."
She gave the three of us a soft smile while gripping Bakugou's arm tightly so he couldn't get away.
Kirishima grinned, "Yeah, my name is Kirishima Eijiro! We're in the same class."
Kaminari shook her hand, "My name's Kaminari Denki."
Everyone turned their gaze to me and I suddenly felt nervous. "Oh um my name is [L/n] [Y/n]. Nice to meet you..." I trailed off with a timid smile.
Mitsuki laughed lightly, "It's so lovely to hear names. He only ever calls anyone by nicknames, you know?"
Bakugou growled, "Shut up, you old hag!" He grumbled quietly when his mom smacked him upside the head.
"Well it's been lovely to meet you all!"
Kirishima grinned brightly, "Wait! Would it be okay if Bakugou hung out with us? After the mall, [L/n] was gonna teach us some first aid!"
Kaminari and I nodded excitedly and to Bakugou's dismay, his mother loved the idea. It didn't matter how many times he claimed we weren't friends, she wouldn't hear it and soon enough it was just the four of us.
Bakugou fumed quietly the entire way back to my apartment but that didn't stop Kirishima and Kaminari from trying to goad him into conversation.
As I opened my front door, I noticed my mom still wasn't home and held in my disappointment.
"So, do you guys wanna just go ahead with the first aid or we could hang out a little if you'd rather?" I wrung my hands nervously, watching Bakugou scrutinize the room.
His glare settled on me and I dropped my eyes. "Do you live here alone or something?"
I looked back up and shook my head, stuttering. "Wha- why would you ask that?"
Kirishima frowned lightly, "Come on man, you can't just ask people that."
The ashy blonde glared before shrugging. "There's only one coat on the coat rack and there's hardly anything to prove even you live here besides all the medical books."
I smiled tightly, "My mom lives here too but she's hardly home. She works as a trauma nurse at the hospital so I usually have the place to myself..." I trailed off, glancing to the floor.
Kirishima, ever to the rescue, tossed an arm around my shoulders. "Well maybe we can turn on a movie and you can teach us the basics!"
The other two boys agreed and soon a movie was playing as I explained the most basic first aid techniques. Even Bakugou was paying attention despite not wanting to be there. I found myself feeling a lot happier that night after they all left.
