(Y/n) took one last look in the mirror, fixing her hair before she wanted to face the day. She sighed, running her fingers in her hair. But, since she couldn't decide on a hair style, she shrugged and let her hair fall naturally. So, she shrugged and walked out of the bathroom.
She bounded down the stairs and made her way to her front door. She opened it, seeing the usual grey sky and even grayer buildings. (Y/n) closed the door, but stopped once something caught her eyes. It was a small rose taped to her door along with a small envelope. (Y/n) pulled down the rose and envelope, and slowly opened the letter.
"Again, I watch you from afar. I honestly don't know how you feel about that, but understand it's out of affection. I just adore you.
I wish I can reveal myself to you, my love. But, I am afraid it'll frighten you once you know the truth behind my identity. Maybe when the time's right, I will. Until then, just know I'm always here and I'm just simply so in love with you."

(Y/n) closed the little note, she looked around to see if anyone stood out to her. But, there was no one. She opened the note one last time, but smiled. So, she closed it and placed it in her pocket and gave the small rose a small sniff. She then walked down her front steps, and made her way downtown to Seventh heaven.

"Hi, (Y/n)!" Tifa called, catching her attention. (Y/n) smiled and waved, Reno, and Cloud was already there. She then saw Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz sitting by the door in the corner of the back of the bar.
"Hey, guys." She smiled and waved to the three, Loz instantly smiled and waved back. Yazoo gave a small wave, but looked a little embarrassed by Loz's enthusiasm. Kadaj on the other hand paid no attention to her, but she didn't mind; she only walked past their table and to the front where her friends were.
"Oh, someone's already got a valentine." Reno teased, eyeing the rose that (Y/n) had. Tifa turned, her eyes instantly widened.
"Oh, my." She gasped, "Where did you get that?"
"I got another letter," (Y/n) said, "I can't believe he got me another rose."
(Y/n) handed the rose over to Tifa who instantly took it and gave it a sniff.
"Where does your mystery man get roses?" Tifa asked, handing the rose back to (Y/n). "I haven't seen a rose in years."
"He must've gone pretty far to get this." Reno said, gently taking the rose from (Y/n) and inspecting it.
"I'm surprised he didn't grab flowers from the church." Cloud said, subtly taking a look.
With such a grey town like Midgar, it was always such a rare occasion when people got to see flowers. Since the land was in such a waste, it was even a shock to see green. Since these letters have been showing up, more and more gifts have been given to her. Like tiger lilies, which she had no clue what those were until Cloud looked it up for her. Whoever this mystery person was, he definitely knew how to make her speechless.
"How many letters have you gotten from your secret admirer?" Reno asked, giving the rose back to (Y/n).
"About seven." (Y/n) said, trying to recall all the letters she has received.
"Do you have any idea on who it is?" Tifa asked, which (Y/n) shrugged.
"I have my eyes on someone, but I know it isn't him." (Y/n) said, "So, I feel like I'll be disappointed if these letters aren't from him."
"Who's the guy?" Cloud asked, leaning in but trying to look inconspicuous about being actually interested in this conversation.
"Uh..well.." (Y/n) trailed off, looking at Tifa for help.
"Oh, so you like someone?" Reno asked, a giant smirk on his face.
"Anyway!" (Y/n) said, trying to change the subject. "Who are these letters from?"

"What are they talking about?" Yazoo asked, Loz subtly looked over and tried to read their lips.
"I think," Loz paused, "They're talking about Kadaj's letters."
"T-They are?" Kadaj asked, nearly choking on his drink. Yazoo's eyes were wide because of his brothers near choking incident.
