On the first page of our story
The first day Kadaj saw her, was when him and his brothers walked the busy streets. Just so they could keep the attention off of them selves. He saw her talking to a gentleman who was selling something, she shook her apologetically, smiling while walking past him. He couldn't lie, he felt intoxicated by her. The way she moved, the way her small smile formed from the corners of her mouth. He couldn't help but stop in town more often to see her go about regular day, she was so polite, so innocent; it was adorable to him. He would slip out into the silence of the night to watch her perform her abilities, which was how she could bend the elements to her will. She also had the ability to use something that is very similar to telekinesis. How could he call in love from just a few glances?
Yazoo on the other hand, saw the small girl and instantly fell for her. He didn't have to see how she treated the people around her, because he knew she treated them with the utmost respect. He watched her at her work, which was a huge bar that she would casually perform at. The town knows her as one of the best singers, everytime you would compete at a karaoke event; everyone put their bet on her. Him and his brothers would watch her perform, they would go into that bar for a "few drinks" when all they would do was watch her perform. The times he would disappear in the middle of the night and watch her practice her abilities in the backyard was almost countless. Her powers, he never saw them before which made her even more special. How can falling in love be so easy?
The night took over the day, she was on her way to the bar. She skipped the whole way there, occasional stopped by a man that would cat call her. She wouldn't know how to react, but she would smile kindly at them and say 'Thank you.' But she couldn't help but feel uneasy by the compliments, she felt her face heat up every time. She shook her head and continued to walk to the bar, humming the song she would be singing tonight. When she got into the building, she glanced at the back of the room to see the same group of silver haired boys. She smiled to herself and walked to the bar to tell the bartender she was here. She bought a drink and stepped back to get a straw, she could feel someone behind her; before she could stop herself, she backed up into them.
"I'm sorry!" (Y/n) said.
"It's fine- (Y/n)?" The voice said, (Y/n) turned around and saw Cloud.
"Cloud?" (Y/n) smiled, Cloud smiled back; he then brought her into a hug which she returned.
"I heard you were performing tonight." Cloud said, (Y/n) nodded.
"Yep, you going to stay for that?"
"Of course, Tifa doesn't shut up about how good your voice is." Cloud said, crossing his arms.
"Tell her I said thanks." (Y/n) said, giggling a little.
"What song are you going to perform?"
"The song I wrote about you." (Y/n) said, smiling slyly at him. Cloud gave her a look of confusion.
"You wrote a song about me?"
"Yep, anyway; I gotta get ready my band is ready." (Y/n) then put her drink down and started to walk away.
"I'll see you after?" Cloud asked,
"We'll see." (Y/n) gave him a smirk, she then skipped away. The long story if Cloud and (Y/n), started when they were young teenagers. She used to tell stories to kids in their village, he would watch from afar and do stupid (he thought they were brave) things. He would do them to impress her, which would end up going wrong and (Y/n) wouldn't even notice. But when they got older, he finally asked her out. She agreed, but when she turned nineteen; all the men she walked by and all the men that worked with her; would take notice. Leading to Cloud getting jealous, which would make him mad and take it out on (Y/n). (Y/n) not wanting to be associated with it anymore, asked for a break in the relationship. Leading to Cloud getting mad/sad and disappearing, but returning ever so often to check up on her. It was quite obvious to see that Cloud still loved (Y/n), but no one could tell if (Y/n) still felt the same.
(Y/n) felt her heart race, she always got this before every show. She could go on hundreds of times, but she would still feel the same. She looked out to the crowd, she saw Cloud; taking another sip from his drink. She then looked to the opposite side of the room, she saw the same silver haired group of guys. She saw then as regulars, very attractive regulars. But she did notice how strange it was that whenever she was singing, they would always show up. She shrugged it off and got ready to do that show.
