Haunted House Fun
"Come on, Kadaj!" (Y/n) begged, "Let's go in this one."
"I don't know." Kadaj said, unsure.
"Well," Tifa intervened, "I guess your girlfriend is braver than you."
"Yeah, all three of you are scared!" Yuffie joined in, the three remnants did not look impressive. (Y/n) kissed Kadaj's cheek, making him look at her.
"Is Halloween too scary for you?" (Y/n) teased, Kadaj glared at his girlfriend.
"No." Kadaj said, trying not to sound offended. (Y/n) made a sassy 'mhm' sound, Kadaj rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Then come with us into this haunted house." (Y/n) said, Yazoo couldn't help but chuckle.
"Manipulation does not look good on you, (Y/n)." He smirked, (Y/n) stuck her tongue out at him, making Loz snicker.
"Vincent's coming with us, and Cloud." Yuffie said, trying to convince the three. Vincent took his eyes off the many festive decorations that were all over the town.
"I am?" He asked, Yuffie nodded.
"You men are such chickens." Tifa said, (Y/n) giggled.
"I bet they're just too scared because they know they'll scream." (Y/n) smirked, Kadaj playfully nudged his girlfriend.
"Will not." He said, gently toying with her hair.
"Okay, let's make a bet." (Y/n) said, challenging Kadaj.
"A bet?" He questioned.
"Yeah, all you men are against us girls. Whoever screams loses." (Y/n) said, Kadaj thought for a moment. He turned to his brothers to see if they were willing to back down, but Loz smiled and nodded his head. Yazoo just shrugged, knowing he could not get out of it. Cloud and Vincent looked at eachother l, both nodding.
"I guess, it's a deal." Kadaj said, (Y/n) smirked.
"But what do the winners get?" Loz asked, Tifa thought for a second.
"The winners get free food, the losers would have to buy it." Tifa said, everyone nodded.
"Oooh, I'm going to make Yazoo buy me an ice cream." (Y/n) teased, Yazoo huffed playfully and rolled his eyes.
"Oh, we'll see indeed (Y/n)." Yazoo smirked, playfully nudging her into Kadaj.
"Anyway, let's get this show on the road!" Yuffie said, excitedly.
"I call not going first!" Loz yelled, following Yuffie to the haunted house.
"But really, what do the winners get?" Kadaj asked, making sure everyone was ahead of (Y/n) and him. (Y/n) thought for a second, she then had a big smile on her face. She leaned up and whispered into Kadaj's ear. His cheeks started to turn red, with what she was saying. She then pulled away, Kadaj's hair fell over his face. He then said, shyly "(Y/n)."
(Y/n) giggled, she then grabbed his hand and led him to the haunted house.
This was then remnants first halloween, and (Y/n) asked them if they wanted to join her at a scare festival. It had a bunch of haunted houses, games, booths, and snacks. Cloud, Vincent, Tifa, and Yuffie also tagged along. The night air was cool, and the small gusts of wind made the spooky atmosphere even more exciting. Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz just tagged along with very little expectations for getting scared. Well..Loz was terrified, but the other two did alright.
"Let's go in together, so we make sure no one is cheating." Yuffie said. Loz looked to be already terrified of the spooky decorated house, screams of the previous people still lingered. The house was almost completely dark, except for the strobe lights that occasionally flashed. Then there would be a loud bang and a scream, meaning people were jumping out and scaring people.
"Um..who goes first?" Loz asked, nervously back up from the front door.
"Vincent." (Y/n) said, getting out of the way of the door and motioning for him to go. Vincent didn't move, he just glared down at (Y/n).
"I don't think so." He said, arms folded over his chest.
"Ladies first?" Cloud suggested, all three girls glared at him.
"Yazoo!" Loz joked, everyone started to laugh. Yazoo did not look pleased, he smacked Loz on the back of the head.
"Ow.." Loz said, rubbing the place where Yazoo hit.
"Well, anyway. Ladies.." Cloud motioned for the door,
"Sexist." Yuffie mumbled, making Tifa giggle.
"Well, what?" Cloud asked, sarcastically. (Y/n) giggled, she then rolled her eyes.
"You know what? I'm going first, you all are a bunch of chickens!" She said, walking into the haunted house, with Tifa and Yuffie in tow.
"That's my girl." Kadaj smiled, proudly. Yazoo made a small "hmph" sound, with a smirk on his face.
"She's braver than you."
"Shut it." Kadaj said, glaring at Yazoo.
Everyone walked through the haunted house, the sounds of screams and growls filled the air. (Y/n) let Cloud go ahead, because he just wanted to get out and win this bet. As they walked, a couple people jumped out at them. Nearly making Cloud and Tifa scream, but luckily they didn't. (Y/n) then felt someone grip onto her, she turned expecting Kadaj, but she saw Loz.
A blood stained clown then jumped out, causing (Y/n) and Loz to jump. Loz almost screamed, but he cupped his mouth shut.
"This is so scary." Loz whispered, but then something grabbed him, making him jump. Loz turned around and saw Yazoo, Loz glared at his brother, even though it was hard to see because of the dim lights. "Yazoo!"
"You're such a baby." Yazoo laughed, making Loz cross his arms.
"Am not!" He argued.
"Don't cry, Loz." Yazoo teased.
"Shut up, Yazoo!"
Just then, the group saw two separate hallways. Vincent walked to the left while the rest followed, except for Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz, who were a little busy. While Yazoo and Loz were teasing each other, Yazoo lightly pushed Loz into Kadaj.
"Hey!" Kadaj protested.
"Sorry, Kadaj." Loz apologized.
"Sorry." Yazoo added.
"Yeah, whatever." Kadaj said, unimpressed.
Just then Kadaj noticed, everyone was gone and they didn't know which hallway they went down.
"Uh..where did they go?" Kadaj asked, making Loz and Yazoo look at the two hallways.
"Maybe they took the right hall." Yazoo suggested, Loz nodded.
"Let's try it." Loz said, just wanting to get out of the house.
So, they walked down the right hallway. At first, they didn't see anything except for fake blood on the walls, strobe lights, and recorded creepy noises played on a speaker. But then, the sound of a creepy little girl's laugh started to play, creeping Loz out. Then the loud bang of a door being opened, caused the three to jump. Another blood stained clown popped out, making Loz almost scream but Yazoo covered his mouth.
"Hey, guys. We lost Kadaj, and his brothers." Tifa said, making everyone turn around.
"We're just about done, they'll meet us outside." Cloud said, but just then the loud sound of a chainsaw was heard. And three loud screams erupted from behind them, this made the group run out of the house, hearing the chainsaw getting closer.
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz continued to walk through the house. Things jumped out, and ran after them. Luckily, they managed to not scream. Well, Yazoo had to sometimes keep his hands over Loz's mouth. But then, the sound of a chainsaw was heard behind them.
It caught them completely by surprise, so they turned and saw nothing at first. But then the guy with the chainsaw jumped out, he revved the chainsaw a couple times, making the three men scream. So, they started to run through the house. But then man still chased after them, only making them scream again.
"Okay, they should be out here soon." Cloud said.
"At least us girls didn't scream." Yuffie said, (Y/n) smiled and nodded.
"Yep, get ready to pay up!" Tifa teased, Cloud and Vincent glared at the three girls.
"I'm going to make Vincent get me mini donuts!" (Y/n) teased, Vincent smiled.
"We'll se-" Vincent was interrupted by three loud screams, and the loud sound of a revving chainsaw.
Everyone turned and saw Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz running out of the haunted house with the man with chainsaw behind them. Yuffie then raised her hands In victory.
"Ha! We won!" Yuffie said, victoriously. (Y/n) couldn't help but start laughing at the three.
Loz instantly hid behind (Y/n), trying to shield himself from the man with the chainsaw.
"I am not your meat shield, Loz!" (Y/n) exclaimed, making everyone laugh, except for the three.
"So, we won. Time to pay up!" Tifa said, looking at Cloud and smiling maliciously.
"Yep, time to get me ice cream Yazoo!" (Y/n) excitedly said, making Yazoo roll his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah. But you're sharing it with me." Yazoo said, pulling out money from his pocket.
"Deal." (Y/n) smiled, making Yazoo smirk. "Oh, and Vincent is getting me mini donuts!"
"Damn it." Vincent cursed, making (Y/n) giggle.
"I guess, I win." (Y/n) smirked, wrapping her arms around Kadaj's neck. Kadaj smirked.
"You did." He said, he then saw everyone walking off. Kadaj then leaned in and whispered into his girlfriend's ear. "You're going to get treated so well tonight."
(Y/n)'s cheeks turned bright red, she then leaned in and kissed Kadaj.
"I better." She teased.
