Play The Part
Work was getting the better of (y/n), nightshift after nightshift. (Y/n) finally got the night off, after two days of pulling of day shifts and night shifts. There had been reports of missing children, some guy just drove in and grabbed a large amount of kids before taking off.
"Bad parenting." (Y/n) would think, knowing that kidnappings happen so fast, too fast for parents who don't even keep an eye on their kids. But, after no results on the missing kids, she was sent home for much needed sleep."Ugh! I need sleep! Now!" (Y/n) dropped all her things and walked towards her bedroom. She dressed in her pjs and dove into bed. Incase you didn't know, when police officers are overworked they rethink everything, this was exactly what (y/n) was doing. The past cases were missing young teenagers and children. A witness said there was a man with long silver hair, but no other description. Without worrying any further, (Y/n) drifted into deep sleep.
(Y/n) awoke to the sound if glass breaking. She slowly got up, looking around. She heard foot steps walking towrds her, then she heard the sound of shuffling. She quickly ducked into her close. She gasp, but quickly putting her hands over her mouth as she heard the footsteps approaching. She could hear whispers, but it was barely audible. Her heart rate started to increase, she could hear the sounds of her stuff being moved. Her bed sounded like it was thrown.
"Not under here." A low voice said,
"Check the other rooms." Another voice damanded, this led to two sets of footsteps walking out of the room. But (Y/n) refused to move, not wanting to give away her position. She then heard footsteps walking towards the closet."Come on now, the only thing to fear is fear itself." With that a loud bang came from the outside of the closet, this made her jump, (Y/n) stumble back falling to the ground. The closet door swung open, (Y/n) screamed. She grabbed the first thing her hand could find in the dark, whatever it was, she swung, cracking her weapon on the mans head. She then ran for it.
"Oh." Said the man in a fake sympathetic tone. (Y/n) managed to make it out of the room, trying to find a her way out. She ran along the halls, but was caught by a pair of strong arms, she screamed. She looked back at man who she hit. Who was slowly walking towards her, she stopped squirming and tried to see who these men were.
"Let me go!" She screamed at the man who was holding her close,
"Of course." He answered back. She when to run again, when she realized it was two of them. She backed up agenst the wall. Her heart beat was racing like it was going to burst. The men were now in arms reach, the man she hit placed a hand on her cheek.
"Heh, you're cute. I'll take my time with you." With that, everything went black.

~(Y/n) awoke, instantly shooting up, She got walking towards the door until it opened. She saw a man with mid length silver hair standing in the door way, (Y/n) backed up.
"Hello, beautiful" he smirked. (Y/n) grabbing the closest thing to use as a weapon. A pillow. She hit the man with all her might.
"Hey! Hey! Stop it will you?!" He put his hands up in defense trying to protect his head.
"Get away from me, creep!" (Y/n) swung the pillow hard at the mans head.
"Stop!" He finally grabbed the pillow from her. She gasped fleeing back to the bed.
"Now don't be afraid of me." He went to touch her cheek.
"Get away from me!" (Y/n) slapped his hand away. "Why am I here?!"
"Because you're the closest thing we could use to find mother." He said getting closer to her.
"Mother?" She crossed her arms. "I don't know your mother."
"You may not." He started, "But we could use you.""How?" She asked, morbid curiosity making her question his motives. Her instant thought was torture. But without reading her thoughts, he answered her question.
"We're not going to torture you, if that's what you're thinking." He said, (Y/n) gave him a look of skepticism. The man chuckled at that, "You're so cute when you make that face."
(Y/n) shook her head, now embarrassed.
"What are you going to do?" She asked, trying to get the conversation on track again. The man then stood up,
"We'll keep you here till we're ready to go forward with the plans." The man started to walk out of the room, but (Y/n) yelled after him.
"What's your name?" She asked, he turned to her.
"Kadaj." He then left the room, closing the door behind him. It's been forever since (Y/n) was free, in a twisted sense, she didn't feel lonely. She felt helpless, she was kept by the men who took her that night. Who's names where Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz. They were kind enough to her, but she felt couldn't help but feel creeped out by them. Kadaj had always made an effort to make her feel safe and comfortable, but (Y/n) was very weary of him. He never once forced himself on her, until he kissed her, which was completely out of nowhere.
Of course she knew it was wrong, but what could she do? Even if she was to escape, she didn't know where she was. Kadaj had kissed her, but other then that, he never forced anything else onto her. It was one kiss, and he told her that it was completely her choice to kiss him next time. But in a way she liked it.
She fell in love with with the man, but was it out of real love? Or was it out of trying to keep her sanity? If she had met him in a normal situation, would she fall for him? She asked herself, but the same answer kept showing up.
"No."Dispite Kadaj's constant presence and loving interactions, she knew that if she kept denying him, he would get tired of her. So, she had to play the part. On a certain level, she sympathized with Kadaj, it wasn't right to play with his feelings, but she need to survive.
"Here goes nothing." She thought, as if on cue Kadaj walking in."Hello, beautiful." He said, in his usual velvet tone.
"Uh" she took a breath, "Hi."
(Y/n) kept her eyes glued to the floor.
"What's wrong?" He knelt in front of her, she kept silent. "(Y/n)?"
He inched closer to her. Without warning (Y/n) grabbed the back of his head and leaned in. Kissing him deeply, he slowly started to kiss back. The kiss was long and passionate, Kadaj's hand becoming entangled with the sudden outburst of emotions. They finally pulled away because the need to breath was to much, (Y/n) felt her heart race, the much needed air subside, now there was just guilt.
"Woah.." Kadaj said, breathlessly. "What was that for?"
He rested his head against hers.
"I love you, Kadaj." She sighed finally letting the words go. Kadaj looked at her, (Y/n) nervously looked and locked eyes with him.
"I've been waiting for you to say that for a long time (Y/n)." Kadaj said, pulling her into a hug, (Y/n) sighed in fake relief. But a smile never found a way onto her face, Kadaj then leaned her in for another kiss.
