"You're serious?" She asked, visible confusion on her face. Her eyes were wide, but she was bouncing on the edge of her seat. Waiting in anticipation, she played with her hair while the doctor finished rereading the sheet of paper.
"Yeah, there is no mistake." The doctor said, (Y/n) started to smile.
"Are you sure?" She asked, getting off her seat; she finally stopped playing with her hair. "I'm going to be a mama?"
"Congratulations, ma'am." The doctor smiled, (Y/n) lit up, she put her hands up to her mouth; she was shocked but so excited.
"Thank you!" She exclaimed, she grabbed her bag and ran out the door.
(Y/n) ran into the seventh heaven bar, she saw Tifa washing cups.
"Tifa!" She yelled, Tifa shot her head up to look at her.
"What's wrong, (Y/n)?" She asked, slightly alarmed; she stopped what she was doing and payes complete attention to (Y/n).
"Where's Cloud?" (Y/n) asked, stepping infront of the bar.
"He's at his dest, why? What's wrong?" She asked, (Y/n) smiled.
"I'm pregnant!" (Y/n) exclaimed, Tifa put her hands to her mouth in shock.
"I'm so happy for you!" Tifa happily said, she leaned over the bar and placed her hands on (Y/n)'s shoulders.
"Thank you!" (Y/n) smiled back, giving Tifa a hug. "I'm going to go tell Cloud!"
(Y/n) let go of Tifa and ran to the steps.
"Be careful, you're pregnant!" Tifa yelled, (Y/n) then slowed to a walk.
"Sorry." She mouthed, before running up the stairs.
"Cloud!" (Y/n) called, Cloud heard the commotion. He quickly got up from his desk,
"What's wrong, (Y/n)?" He asked, his heart racing; (Y/n) ran into his arms.
"Cloud, guess what?"
"What?" He asked, looking down at her with confusion; he held her close.
"I'm pregnant!" She exclaimed, Cloud's face lit up; he brought her into a hug.
"Congratulations, (Y/n)!" He exclaimed, holding her tight.
"I have to go tell Yazoo." She said, she let go of Cloud and ran down the hallway.
"Hey, slow down! You're supposed to take care of yourself now!" Cloud called after her.
"Sorry!" She yelled, (Y/n) then walked down the stairs. She ran back into the main bar area, she said goodbye to Tifa.
"I can drive you!" Cloud called,
"Too late, she's gone!" Tifa yelled back, Cloud shook his head.
"That girl." He said, he smiled and sat back down.
(Y/n) quickly made her way to the hide out, she had gotten a ride from a very nice man who was passing by the forgotten city. She walked passed the lake, she slowed down to a walk. She opened her bag, she looked inside and saw her pregnancy test. She had taken it that morning, before booking an appointment with the doctor. It had came out positive, so she wanted to surprise Yazoo. Before she left midgar, she had bought a small, rectangular box. She put her pregnancy test in the box, she stopped. She took a breath, she placed the pregnancy test in the box and closed it. She felt her heart race, she clutched the box and held it to her chest. She took another breath and continued to walk towards the hide out.
She approached the hideout, her heart raced as she started to walk towards the door. She could hear a bike start up, she turned her head to see Loz.
"Loz?" She called, he turned his head to look at her.
"There you are, I was going out to find you." He said,
"I'm sorry, Is Yazoo inside?" She asked, Loz shook his head.
"No, but Kadaj is." He said, (Y/n) walked up to Loz.
"If I tell you something, do you promise to keep it a secret?" She asked, adjusting her bag.
"I promise, as long as you tell Kadaj." Loz said, (Y/n) smiled and nodded.
"I will."
"Okay, tell me!" Loz said, excitedly.
"I'm pregnant." She whispered, Loz's eyes widened.
"You are?!" He asked, excitedly; (Y/n) nodded. Loz got off his bike and hugged her tight, he then quickly pulled away.
"I'm sorry!" He said, motioning to her stomach; she smiled and nodded. Loz then grabbed her hand and took her inside.
"Kadaj!" Loz yelled, Kadaj casually walked out of the kitchen.
"What?" He asked, Loz still held onto (Y/n).
"She has a secret to tell you!" Loz exclaimed, Kadaj gave both of them a confused look.
"What's going on?" He asked. (Y/n) smiled, she let go of Loz's hand and walked up to Kadaj.
"You can't tell Yazoo yet, promise?" She asked, Kadaj hesitated, but nodded.
"I'm pregnant." She said, Kadaj's face went from confusion to pure shock.
"What!" He yelled, (Y/n) nodded; reassuring every doubt he had. "Is it Yazoo's?"
"Yes." (Y/n) felt nervous, but before she knew It. She was twirled around, she didn't have time to react but she held on tight to Kadaj's neck. She finally smiled, he put her back down.
"Kadaj, the baby!" Loz yelled, Kadaj then remembered, he pulled away.
"I'm sorry," he said, (Y/n) laughed.
"It's fine." She smiled, Kadaj then brought her into another hug.
"When are you going to tell him?" Kadaj asked, he pulled away from the hug. (Y/n) thought for a minute, she then remembered the wrapped up box in her bag.
"When will he be back?" She asked,
"In about an hour." Kadaj replyed.
So, they planned on how to tell Yazoo. Loz was super excited, while Kadaj was excited but kept it contained. Loz and Kadaj would go out for a walk and then they would come back in an hour. Which would give enough time for (Y/n) to tell him, and show him that small box she had. She slowly paced, her nerves were taking over now. Since Yazoo would be here any second, it lead to her palms swearing. She put her hands on her stomach, gently rubbing it, she hummed to try and calm her nerves.
"(Y/n)?" A voice called, it was Yazoo's, (Y/n) took a breath and straightened her posture.
"In here, Yazoo." She called happily, (Y/n) put on a smile and waited for him to walk in.
"Where's Kadaj and Loz?" Yazoo asked, walking into the kitchen. Yazoo stopped, noticing his girl's nervousness and the small box that was on the table.
"I got you a little present." (Y/n) said, nervously.
"Did you?" Yazoo asked, he then walked over to (Y/n) and kissed her head.
"Yeah, go open it." (Y/n) pushed, not being able to take the anticipation.
"Okay." Yazoo said, he then sat down on the kitchen table chair, he gently grabbed the box.
He opened the box, his eyes then widened, (Y/n) starred in anticipation. He pulled out the pregnancy test, his eyes locking on the two pink lines that showed the result was positive.
"Are you-" Yazoo trailed off, he looked at (Y/n).
"Y-yes." She stuttered, Yazoo then stood up, the pregnancy test still In his hand.
"Is it.." He trailed off again.
"Yours? Yes, it is." (Y/n) said, trying not to be offended by the question.
"So, we're going to be..parents?" He asked, his voice shaking.
"Yes." (Y/n) answered.
"I'm going to be a..dad?" Yazoo said, obviously the whole thing wasn't clicking.
"Yes, Yazoo." (Y/n) said, she giggled. Yazoo then snapped out of it, he then smiled and picked up (Y/n) and spun her.
"I'm going to be a dad?" He asked, excitedly, (Y/n) nodded. He then put her down and pulled her into a deep kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Yazoo asked many questions about babies, and how the pregnancy was going to work. Saying he was excited was an understatement, he was completely clingy and protective over her. He asked almost every ten minutes to touch her stomach, and asking if it was going to be a boy or a girl. She kissed his cheek, she felt her heart melt when he lowered his head and kissed her stomach, he then layed his head down on her lap. She played with his hair, while she gently rubbed his head.
"You're going to be an amazing father." She said, before Yazoo fell asleep.
