Someday I'll make it alright
(Y/n) was sobbing, Kadaj just sat there, not knowing what to say. He had his hands covering his eyes out of stress, he hated seeing her like this. Since the reason why she was like this was because of him, all he wanted to do was try to comfort her.
"Is there anything I can do?" Kadaj asked, (Y/n) just continued to cry.
"N-no." She whimpered. "I-I-"
"(Y/n)." Kadaj tried to comfort her, but (Y/n) screamed, making him jump. She then threw the closest thing to her, which was a candle. She threw it at the table, making her glass of water fall, both the glass and the candle shattering.
(Y/n) then picked up a newspaper, throwing it on the table, into the water. She then pulled out the table chair and sat down, her hands covering her eyes, she still sobbed. Kadaj, not knowing what to do, tried to each out to her. But she stood up abruptly, tears falling down into her shirt.
"(Y/n), please." Kadaj pleaded, still sitting down, but she shook her head.
He watched ever tear fall from her face, but it wasn't until he saw her run to their bedroom and start packing.
"(Y/n)?" He got up, walking into the bedroom. He saw her throwing her clothes in a suitcase, "Don't do this."
But (Y/n) continued, it looked like she wasn't even looking at what she was throwing into the suitcase.
"You think it's easy." (Y/n) stated, Kadaj rose and eyebrow. "I can't fucking do it."
(Y/n) then closed up the bag and ran out.
"Come on. Don't do that." Kadaj said, following her, but she ignored him. He could still hear her sobs, he tried to catch up, but surprisingly she was too fast. "(Y/n)!"
But nothing, he could hear the front door close, he sighed. He ran out the door, already seeing her in her truck. He ran to the driver side window, he knocked, trying to get her attention.
"Stop for a minute!" He pleaded, "I love you."
(Y/n) then stopped, one single tear falling from her eye.
She looked to the review mirror, she sighed.
"When you left, you broke me. I spent weeks, wondering what I did to make you leave. You made me question my worth. I've never left you in the dark, I've never done anything to hurt you. But this.." (Y/n) paused, she whipped the tear from her face, she then looked at the building they used to call their home. "I've lost you."
She then turned on the truck, she then drove off.
"(Y/n)!" Kadaj yelled, he ran after the truck, "(Y/n)!" He called again, but nothing. The truck was too fast and Kadaj couldn't catch up to her.
But not wanting to give up, Kadaj still ran for it, knowing exactly where she would go. Seventh heaven. He ran down the street, running past people who paid him no mind. He couldn't care if he hit anyone, he just wanted to find her. Kadaj's mind was racing, it felt confused, he felt ignored. He wondered why she wouldn't just listen to him. Yes, he did leave, but it was for a greater cause. Him and his brothers had to fulfill their purpose, but now that he thought about it. He couldn't remember what had happened after his fight with Cloud. Kadaj's memory just pulled a blank when he would think about his last battle, but trying not to think about it, he just kept running.
He saw the truck, he ran to the door of Seventh Heaven, it was locked. He rushed to the window, to see (Y/n) sitting at one of the tables, crying, whoth Cloud and Tifa trying to comfort her. Kadaj then knocked on the window, but it was like they didn't hear it. So, he hit his fist against the window harder. But nothing. He did it again, feeling desperate, but they paid him no mind.
"(Y/n)!" He yelled, still nothing. He then looked the the streets, they acted like they didn't hear him. Kadaj turned back to the window, looking at (Y/n)'s lips who were moving. He tried to listen.
"I-I can't believe I lost him." (Y/n) said, Tifa rubbed her arm.
"It's going to be okay, (Y/n). It was for the better." Tifa tried to comfort her.
"If I could change him, I would've." Cloud chimed in, (Y/n) looked up at Cloud, she nodded while another tear fell.
"I just can't believe Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz are gone." (Y/n) said. "It was like I felt Kadaj with me this morning, like his spirit was still with me."
"Gone? Spirit?" Kadaj asked himself, he looked to see (Y/n) get up, she then pulled out the newspaper. At the same time, Kadaj felt something hit his foot. He looked down and saw a newspaper. Printed on the front page read.
"THREAT TERMINATED! Remnants of Sephiroth pronounced Dead." With a picture of Kadaj and his brothers.
