Birthday Gifts
"So, what are these again?" Loz asked, holding up a small cell phone looking device.
"They're called walkie talkies, we can use them while we're shopping." (Y/n) said, showing Loz the other one she had.
"Can't we use our phones?" Loz asked, still giving the device a skeptical look.
"Didn't Yazoo take your phone?" She asked, Loz thought for a moment and then nodded.
"Oh yeah." He said, "He took it because I kept taking pictures of him."
(Y/n) giggled, she then pulled the bigger man along with her. They walked side by side, Loz still a little lost about what was happening.
"(Y/n), what are we doing again?" He asked, staring down at her.
"Well, since Kadaj doesn't exactly have a birthday, I was thinking of getting him a gift to kinda give him a sorta birthday." (Y/n) said, Loz's expression lit up with excitement but then stopped.
"What about Yazoo and I?" He asked,
"What about you two?" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow.
"We were all born at the same time, don't we get gifts too?" Loz asked, a little hurt.
"Oh yeah!" She exclaimed, "I'm sorry Loz, I'll get you guys presents too."
"Yes!" Loz punched the air excitedly.
"You're going to have to help me though, Yazoo is very hard to shop for." (Y/n) said, Loz thought for a second.
"Well, he never shows interest in anything except for teasing me." Loz said, he frowned at that.
"Hm, I'll think of something." (Y/n) said, now absolutely puzzled about what to get the three. Loz was easy, he was happy with everything. But Kadaj and Yazoo, they were almost impossible to get gifts for.
"(Y/n)?" Loz's voice called, getting her attention.
"Yes?"
"Why did you want me to come with you?" Loz asked, looking down at her.
"Well, it's because you're my best friend." She teased, but Loz's face lit up with happiness.
"Really?" He asked, excitedly. Not wanting to disappoint him, she nodded.
"Of course!" She exclaimed, Loz brought her In for a side hug.
"Thanks (Y/n)!" He said, happily.
"It's no problem, Loz. But the other reason was for you to carry my shopping bags and you also know your brothers really well." She joked, Loz stopped.
"Are you going to do THAT much shopping?" He asked, his eyes were wide.
"Well, do you want presents?" (Y/n) asked, Loz looked down at the ground, shyly.
"Yeah.."
After they managed to get into the large mall, they noticed how many people were there.
"Uh, I hope these devices work." Loz said, holding up the walkie talkie. "Because, Kadaj would kill me if I lost you here."
"I think we'll be fine. Come on, let's shop!" (Y/n) then grabbed Loz's hand and pulled him into the nearest store.
After what felt like hours of shopping, Loz told (Y/n) that he was going to sit down on the bench outside the store. Loz had so many bags to carry, since he didn't want to make (Y/n) carry any, he took the liberty of carrying them all. (Y/n) continued to try and find gifts for everyone, she even managed to find herself something. As she thought before, Loz was easy and happy with anything. So, she got all the boys some blankets for their rooms because the house gets super cold. Then, she got Loz materia and a funny little shirt that said "I heart mother" which made her laugh.
She got Yazoo a small toy gun, which she was going to regret and she managed to get him a horror book, which Loz suggested. (Y/n) managed to get Kadaj a beautiful framed picture of the two of them during their last anniversary, and a pair of new leather gloves and well..another surprise gift. It was a nearly impossible task to get the three gifts, but she managed to do it.
Even though Loz wasn't waiting for long, he got bored. So, he grabbed the walkie talkie and spoke into it. Hoping (Y/n) would hurry what she was doing.
"Loz to (Y/n), come in (Y/n)." He said with a smirk on her face, waiting for a response. But he couldn't hear anything, so he tried again, speaking louder. "Testing, testing."
Again, there was no sound of (Y/n). Loz started to get worried.
"Testing!" He said, louder. But nothing. "Testing, testing, testing, testing, testing!"
Loz started to panic now, his face swelled with worry. He then yelled into the walkie talkie, getting everyone's attention around him. "TESTING, TESTING! (Y/N), DO YOU READ?!"
