"Kadaj?" (Y/n) called, she waved her hand infront of his face, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Huh? Sorry." Kadaj said, shaking his head.
"It's okay if you don't want to." (Y/n) said, she looked down at the bed.
"No, let's do it." Kadaj said, (Y/n) looked up In surprise.
"Really?" She asked, Kadaj nodded. (Y/n) then threw herself on him. Locking their lips together, Kadaj wrapped his arms around her smaller frame, be then pulled away.
"Just keep in mind, if they don't accept us. I don't want you to have to choose between anyone." Kadaj said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Because I would choose you." (Y/n) said, Kadaj gave her a grateful smile.
"I appreciate that." He said, his hand still cupping her cheek.
"You know you're not that much of a bad guy." (Y/n) said, Kadaj chucked.
"I guess I'm not when it comes to you." Kadaj leaned in and kissed her forehead, (Y/n) smiled, closing her eyes. "But I think you should sleep now."
"So should you." (Y/n) retaliated, with a smirk on her lips.
"Fine." Kadaj said, he layed down and extended his arm so she could lay on it. (Y/n) snuggled closer to his chest, she grabbed the blanket and covered them both. The last thing she felt was his the cool leather jacket on her warm skin, giving her a small shiver.
"Kadaj, you've been tense since we left my house." (Y/n) remarked, with a small smile on her lips. Kadaj chuckled, he laced his fingers with her's while they walked.
"I never thought I'd go through this worry of meeting the family." Kadaj grimaced, (Y/n) giggled.
"I'll meet your family after you meet mine." (Y/n) compromised, he smiled and nodded. "I've always wanted to meet your brothers, you talk so much about them that I feel like I already know them."
"Well, Loz would love you. Yazoo would take some time to warm up to you, but he'll come around." Kadaj said, he put his hand up to his lips, kissing the back of her hand while they walked.
"Then I can't wait to meet my boyfriend's family." (Y/n) excitedly said, Kadaj's eyes slightly widened in happiness.
"Boyfriend?" He repeated, (Y/n) happily nodded. "I have to admit, the title fits well."
In the seventh heaven bar, Vincent, Barret, Cloud, Yuffie, Cid and Tifa were all having drinks and talking about their travels and about life. But that all came to a halt when (Y/n) entered the room.
"Hey, (Y/n)!" Barret welcomed, getting everyone's attention. "Long time no see, girl!"
"Hi, (Y/n)!" Yuffie happily called, (Y/n) nervously waved. The door hiding Kadaj's hand while she walked in, she stopped In the doorway before continuing.
"Um.." She started, "I have someone I want you all to meet."
"Oooh! Is it a boyfriend!" Yuffie joked, causing Cid and her to chuckle.
"Well, yeah." (Y/n) said truthfully, this got the groups attention.
"Bring him in, kid! I wanna meet this man." Cid said, leaning back on the bar.
"Yeah, (Y/n)!" Tifa helped, gently nudging Cloud, knocking the scowl off his face.
"Okay then." (Y/n) then gently pulled Kadaj into the room, making the whole room gasp and stop abruptly.
"What is this man doing here?" Barret angrily asked, (Y/n) put her hands up in defense.
"Because I wanted him to meet you guys." (Y/n) answered, her tone starting to weaken because of their reaction.
"Meet him? Is he your-" Tifa trailed off, (Y/n) nodded.
"Yes, he's my boyfriend." (Y/n) said, holding Kadaj's hand tighter for comfort, he gently gave it a reassuring squeeze.
"Boyfriend? Him? He's not even a whole person!" Cloud yelled, Kadaj's jaw tightened at the insult.
"At least he's not pretending to be someone he's not." (Y/n) fired back, her voice still soft. Cloud rolled his eyes, got him.
"That dosen't excuse him for what he is." Vincent added, (Y/n) rolled her eyes.
"And what is he, Vincent?" She retaliated, Vincent looked down, avoiding the question entirely. "If I can recall, we're not perfect either. Cloud, you're an ex solider, Vincent, you used to be working for Shinra. But here we are."
The group looked at eachother, (Y/n) had a point. Which stung the most, because they didn't know if they could trust Kadaj. Kadaj, knowing that it wasn't looking good for him, he decided to add himself into the conversation.
"I know you all have mixed feelings about me." Kadaj said, (Y/n) looked up at him. He then let go of (Y/n)'s hand and put his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close. "But I assure you, I love (Y/n). I don't think I can live with myself if I ever hurt her or wronged her in anyway, she's..my everything."
The group's gaze softened, but Kadaj continued.
"You all mean a great deal to her, I wanted to meet her family. So, dispite the fact that you all don't trust me. I will show you all that I will be nothing but perfect for her."
"Wow." Yuffie said, stunned by what Kadaj had said. "I mean, that was what I was worried about. But, you seem to have that all covered."
"I do, I have put a lot of thought into this." Kadaj said, (Y/n) looked up at him, a loving smile on her lips.
"But we can not ignore the big problem here, have you been thinking about that?" Vincent asked, his arms crossed. Kadaj nodded,
"It has been something that has been weighing down my thoughts, but I can assure you that I have been figuring out ways to handle that issue. My brothers and I have had lengthy talks about that problem."
"Wow, this guy thought of everything." Cid said, impressed. "My only concern is the safety, are your brothers aware of (Y/n)?"
"They have been informed, yes." Kadaj said, Cid nodded. "They're going to meet her tonight."
"Well, that answers my question." Cid said, looking towards the rest of the group.
Cloud cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. He looked over at Kadaj, his gaze hardened. He then looked down at (Y/n), who nervously clung to Kadaj's side.
"Are you happy?" Cloud asked, looking directly at (Y/n).
"Yes, the happiest I've ever been in a long time." (Y/n) said, Kadaj gently pulled her close for that. Cloud nodded,
"I'm not happy about it," Cloud said, "But I can warm up to it."
"Thank you, Cloud." She said, a small sigh of relief escaped her mouth.
"Yeah, I'll accept you guys." Tifa said,
"Me too." Barret agreed.
"Yeah, as long as you're happy." Yuffie smiled.
"Whatever you want, kid." Cid said, raising his glass for the two.
"Agreed." Vincent said, his arms still folded.
"Thank you all, it means so much." (Y/n) said, she then looked up at Kadaj with a wide smile. Kadaj kissed her forehead, lovingly. "Time to meet your family!"
"I guess it's time to pull end." Kadaj said, (Y/n) gently pulled him to the door.
"Good luck, Kadaj!" Cid proclaimed, making the rest laugh. But it was too late, Kadaj and (Y/n) left.
