a/n: welp. sorry. part 2 of last oneshot coming tmr!! here is not a sokeefe oneshot, but something cool cool cooliooooo (that was cringe, sorry) 

my take on elysian (SHANNON WHY DID U LEAVE US ON A CLIFFHANGER THATS SO RUDE UGH)

The atmosphere felt heavy, as though something was off, and Sophie instinctively knew that she wasn't alone. She turned around, her heart suddenly pounding in her chest. The shadows seemed to stretch and distort in the dim light, the air thick with tension.

And then, she saw her.

Elysian.

She was standing a few feet away, her face expressionless, her eyes as dark as the night around them. Her usually quiet demeanor was replaced by an unsettling stillness. Elysian's black hair hung limp around her face, and her dark eyes stared at Sophie, not with malice, but with a kind of sad knowing.

"Elysian?" Sophie whispered, but the words felt foreign in her mouth. She reached out instinctively, but the figure before her didn't respond. Instead, Elysian slowly raised her hand, pointing to the floor.

Sophie's gaze followed, and her stomach dropped when she saw what lay beneath her. Blood. Elysian's blood, dark and fresh, pooling around her feet. The same blood that had stained the library floor.

Sophie's heart raced as the dream blurred and twisted. The echoes of whispers grew louder, the words indistinguishable but urgent. Elysian's face flickered, her features shifting between sadness and something darker. Her mouth moved, but no sound escaped. Instead, Sophie heard the whispers grow clearer: "You should have known. You should have seen it coming."

Sophie stepped back, her legs feeling like they were made of stone, but no matter how much she tried to move, she couldn't escape the suffocating feeling of dread.

Suddenly, everything around her shifted again. The library returned, but this time, it was different. The shelves were overturned, books scattered around the floor, and the atmosphere was thick with the smell of something metallic—something sharp.

Elysian's lifeless body lay on the ground, her eyes wide open, staring directly at Sophie with an unblinking, accusatory gaze. The blood was everywhere, splattered across the walls and the floor, as though the library itself was tainted with the tragedy.

The whispers grew louder until they filled the space completely. "She knows too much," they hissed in unison. "She was always going to be a problem."

Sophie's chest tightened as panic began to set in. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks. The dream was more than just a nightmare. It was a warning, an omen. Elysian's death, the blood, the whispers—they were all part of something bigger, something she hadn't understood yet.

"Sophie," a voice called, cutting through the chaos of the dream. It was soft, familiar—Keefe's voice.

Sophie snapped awake, her breathing shallow, her heart racing. She sat up in her bed, her room bathed in the faint glow of moonlight. Her body trembled from the dream's intensity, and her mind spun with the images of Elysian's death. She could still feel the weight of it, the coldness of the blood on the floor, and the words that echoed in her mind.

"She knows too much," the whispers had said. What did it mean? What was Elysian hiding? And why had she felt like part of the dream wasn't just about Elysian—it was a warning for her?

Sophie took a shaky breath, trying to calm herself. It had to have been a dream, just a twisted dream caused by everything she'd been through lately. But the question still gnawed at her: What did it all mean?

And what part of Elysian's story had Sophie not been able to see?

Sophie fought the urge to giggle as a thought popped up in her mind. "Read more of Sophies amazing adventures in Book 2 of Sophie Foster and her confusing life with an elf called Keefe Secen and ELysian which she has no idea what it means."
