I LOVE THIS ONESHOT SO MUCH ITS JUST AAAAA

The evening sky was painted in shades of indigo and purple as Sophie and Keefe made their way to the roof of the compound. The city lights below twinkled like a thousand stars, but it was the sky above them that caught Sophie's attention. The stars were out in full force tonight, more than usual, and they seemed to stretch on forever.

Sophie leaned against the railing, staring up at the endless sky, her heart feeling unexpectedly light as she took in the peacefulness of the night. She turned to Keefe, who was standing beside her, his gaze trained on the stars, though she could sense that his focus was shifting—shifting to her.

"It's so pretty, right?" Sophie murmured, her voice soft, almost dreamlike. Her eyes lingered on the vast expanse of the sky, but her words were meant for him.

Keefe didn't respond immediately. Instead, his eyes were still locked on her, a slight smile curling at the corners of his lips as he studied her, taking in the way the moonlight seemed to catch in her hair, the way her eyes sparkled under the soft glow of the stars.

"My view is even prettier," he said quietly, his voice low and sincere, his gaze never wavering from hers.

Sophie's breath hitched in her throat at the intensity of his words, her cheeks warming under his steady gaze. Her heart picked up its pace, and she couldn't quite hide the blush creeping up her neck.

She laughed softly, more out of nervousness than anything, her eyes glinting as she tried to deflect his compliment. "Oh, Keefe," she said, shaking her head, but her lips curled into a smile that betrayed how deeply his words had affected her.

For a moment, neither of them said anything. The silence between them was thick, heavy with the unsaid things that hung in the air. The stars were still there, but it felt as though everything else had disappeared. All Sophie could focus on was Keefe—his proximity, the way his smile softened when he looked at her, and the warmth that seemed to radiate from him even on the cool night.

Unable to stand the electric pull between them any longer, Sophie reached out, her fingers finding the collar of Keefe's shirt. She tugged it toward her, pulling him in closer, her heartbeat thrumming in her chest. There was no hesitation this time, no second-guessing. She was done fighting the way he made her feel.

A/N: so um guys Mia wrote this bc shes better at writing kissing scenes

Their lips met in a kiss that was anything but gentle. Keefe's hands immediately found their way to her waist, pulling her toward him, as though trying to close the already small gap between them. Sophie's hands slid up to his neck, pulling him even closer, feeling the heat of his skin beneath her fingers as they deepened the kiss.

It was everything—everything they had been holding back, everything they had been pretending not to feel, all tangled up in a single moment. Sophie's heart raced, her breath coming in quick, shallow gasps as Keefe's lips moved against hers with a sense of urgency that made her pulse spike.

She kissed him harder, her fingers tightening in his shirt as she angled her head to deepen the kiss, her body pressing against his as if it had a mind of its own. Keefe groaned softly, his lips parting as he took the kiss further, his hands slipping down to her back, pulling her even closer as though he couldn't get enough of her.

Everything around them faded—the stars, the cool breeze, the city below. All that mattered was the two of them, wrapped up in the heat of the kiss, lost in the feel of each other.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathless, their lips still tingling from the intensity of the kiss. Sophie's heart hammered in her chest as she stared up at him, her hands still resting against his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart under her palms.

Keefe's eyes were dark with desire, but there was something tender in them too, something soft, as if he were seeing her for the first time all over again. He brushed a loose strand of hair away from her face, his thumb gently grazing her cheek. "I've been wanting to do that for a long time," he whispered, his voice hoarse from the kiss.

M/N: M/N IS MIA NOTE BTW AND HAHAHA IM MIA GUYS AND I ATE THAT SCENE RIGHT? ANYWAY BACK TO RIRI

A/N: so uh that scene was interesting right??

Sophie smiled, breathless but not nearly as flustered as she thought she'd be. "I know," she whispered back, her voice barely above a breath. Her fingers rested against his shirt collar, still holding on as if grounding herself in the moment. "I've been wanting to kiss you for just as long."

Keefe's smile widened, though there was something more sincere, more raw in it now. "Guess we've both been terrible at waiting," he teased softly, but there was no mistaking the way he looked at her now—like she was his whole world.

Sophie laughed, a soft sound that escaped her lips despite the butterflies in her stomach. "Yeah, we're not very good at that."

Keefe took a step closer, his forehead gently resting against hers. "Good thing we don't have to wait anymore," he murmured, his voice soft but firm in its promise.

Sophie closed her eyes, savoring the feeling of being in his arms, the weight of the night around them, and the quiet peace that filled the space between them. For once, everything felt right. Everything felt like it was finally falling into place.

The stars above them continued to shine, but Sophie didn't need to look up anymore. She had everything she needed right here, in Keefe's arms, under the vast, endless sky.
