Kam and I are strolling through the chilly empty roads of Seter St , we haven't said a word to each other , he's waiting for me to tell him what it is that I need to say .

" It's been a long week hasn't it ?" I start the conversation.

" Sort of , it wasn't as hectic as yours probably was " , the wind is brushing against his already bumpy skin, I almost laugh at how his manly efforts aren't hiding the baby that's crying for a blanket inside him.

He gave me his jacket when we left the house , although I feel sorry for him there's nothing else I can do .

" Perks of being a gentle men ?" I smile at him.

" Tell me about it , I am freezing " .

" Would you like your jacket back ?" .

" No of course not , I prefer living in discomfort whilst you live in comfort my Queen " .

I blush " you and your weak flirting " .

We are intently focused on the road , " I had no idea walking in the night can be this peaceful " I express.

" I know right ?, I do it all the time  whenever I want to clear my head, I don't jog in the mornings like normal people, always at night , it's very refreshing" .

" Really" I give him a gleam smile ," I think I should also try it . jogging at night" .

" you should but only when I am around we don't want you getting kidnapped or anything like that " .

" oh I thought the security was too tight around here ".

" tight as in 90 percent ,I'm the remaining 10".

Nodding "in that case I hear you ,I'll be sure to call you when I feel like taking a jog ... How about tomorrow ?, I'd love to put on my sport wear and out run you " .

" We are having a race ?, It's on Miss Lauren, just because I like you doesn't mean I'll go easy on you " .

I shiver mockingly," oh I am scared , let's make a bet , if I win then you will give me whatever I want and if you win I'll give you whatever you want ".

He smiles from the corner of his lip, " deal, no backing out okay? " .

" Just don't ask for something weird or something impossible" .

" Don't worry - Me and weird are not a thing " , his mind trails off for a second changing his expression which automatically changes the mood between us ," I'm waiting " he says sternly rubbing the smile off my face .

" For what ?" .

" Whatever you want to say " .

I clear my throat, mortified for some unknown reason , " yes um ,I wanted to tell you sooner but  we had an issue regarding the reception at our house , it was weird the moment we  enter the gates it goes completely off , I think someone was trying to hack us , Ethan had it fixed yesterday morning before the party " I explain.

" Did he say what the interference was?".

" Nope, I didn't ask , it was a busy day, I'm just glad you managed to make it " .

" Ethan now knows that I'm aware of your relationship, I wonder what he'll say about it " .

I roll my eyes," I find myself caring very little about that man now, he can think and feel the way he wants ".

" Don't you think he'll catch on to us ?, That we've been spending time together? , Won't that piss him off ?"  concern  traceable in his tone.

" Ethan and I are in a open relationship so he doesn't have the right to be pissed off if anyone should be pissed is me , I struggled years and years for the mistake I made and Sarah was about to make him a Hobbo and all he had to say was 'I can't with you ' and just like that she was forgiven , how stupid can he be , Sarah has proven time and time again that she will destroy him , I honestly do not wish to be around when that happens ".
