Two weeks after the party ... Ethan and I are in his office revising the overall budget for the Lit project , Austin has only 4 months left with us , after the construction is over and everything is underway he'll have no place in this office.

Miranda told me last night that he is planning on going back to his homeland, I find myself very bothered by that even though I know that we ended a longtime ago .

" Where is your mind?" He asks softly.

"Right here" I'm also not sure .

" You just missed the material costs ".

" Oh " I look back down on the sheet and add it to my calculator.

" You almost cost us 6 million".

" Sorry ,I wasn't paying attention" .

" Where's your mind?"he asks again.

" My dalfi , I feel anxious letting Caitlyn and dad do the planning , last year and the year before that was a complete disaster ".

" Should I do the planning instead?" He asks.

" No let them , they've already done the bookings by now it's only three weeks away ".

He sighs," I should've been involved from the beginning, I know what you like so it would've been perfect ".

This statement of his reminds me of our last therapy session, we handed Andrew the papers she gave us and asked us the questions to see if the other one answered it correctly, when she held the answer sheet that Ethan wrote and asked me the questions I felt guilty because he had answered everything and I mean everything correctly which means he knows me better than I know myself.

it was embarrassing and what added to that embarrassment was the fact that I had only one answer right and that was based on his favourite food. I don't know my own husband despite being married to him for years .

" We'll just have to pray and hope that they do a better job this time ".

Austin knocks gently on the door ,Ethan signals him to come in .

He is wearing the same cologne he had on that particular night ," good morning" he greets me not even waiting for me to respond and starts talking to Ethan.

I get extremely offended when he does that ,I understand that he no longer cares about me but still I'd like him to treat me like I'm someone.

after their discussion they decide to leave together to attend a meeting that only Austin was supposed to attend  and I'm left all alone .

Since it's Friday and everyone knocks off early I'd usually use this time to bond with Caitlyn but we are not on talking terms so I'm going to have to go home and sleep until Ethan comes back ,my routine these days revolves around Ethan because he is the only one I have left. all my minutes,hours and days I spend next to him , I'm surprised we are still so distant emotionally even with all the time we spend together here at work , lunchtime, and at home .

Before I step out the office I receive a text from Elizabeth asking me to meet up with her if I'm not busy , I want to reject her but my conscious doesn't allow me so I accept her request and suggest the restaurant we should meet at .

I drive straight to the location and find her already standing outside with a remorseful expression on .

Not many people come here because of a news report that came out last year about this place being infested with cockroaches, it's not ideal but because of the quietness it is for me , I'm just not in the mood for the ' congratulations on the baby ' saga ,and I'm not planning on eating here .
