The next morning.

Ethan waited for me again so we could go to work together, Billy is  tired of trying to figure us out, one day we are blue and one day we are white .I still don't know how I'm going to face Kam .

" you okay?" He asks .

" Huh?" .

" Worried?".

" I'm good, must be because I haven't had my Coffee " .

" Should we pass by Caitlyn's shop?" .

My eyes widen" No it's okay" , Caitlyn is the last person I want to meet right now.

He smirks ," you haven't told her ?".

I shake my head lightly," it's only been three days , when could I have told her ?" .

He nods slowly" I see,
Should I join you when you do"

" No it'll just make her react worse , I'll tell her alone , I know how to get to my own sister ".

" okay " his voice is accepting .

" should we start by telling Billy ?"I suggest.

Billy looks at us through the rearview mirror at the sound of his name .

"Tell him what ?" .

" Nothing,I'm just teasing"

" I'm sure he already knows" they exchange glances through the rear.

" Congratulations Mr and Mrs Price " he clears his throat.

The problem with Billy is that he is always neutral ,one can never know what he's thinking,his expression is the same no matter what he sees , always professional . it's been close to four years now and I'm yet to see him smile , which has me wondering what he must be like around his family,is he as stale or more lively?.

" Thank you Billy" we say simultaneously.

He parks in front of the office and like the last time I'm the first to exit the car, Its not that I don't want to hold Ethan's hand when we walk in or just simply walk in with him- I do , I really do , I want to make 'the others' hate me for a reason this time , I want to see the look on their faces when they get the fear that they might lose their jobs for their nasty attitude towards me from all those years ago , I feel like I'm practically their boss now .

" Don't get ahead of yourself Lauren, just chill " I mutter as I head to the elevator , I hop in when the door opens and head straight for my office only to find the person I'm trying to avoid already sitting on my couch.

"Austin?, Hi " I say awkwardly.

His head falls back," Austin ? Hi ?" He stands .

" Good morning is a lot less awkward".

" Yes, good morning" I mumble.

He laughs," are you okay ?" He strides to me and holds my shoulders. He is wearing a brown leather jacket with regular jeans and a white top

" Yes I'm good" I remove his hand and clear my throat awkwardly.

" You are not fine , what's wrong with you ?, Why are you avoiding eye contact?" .

" Nothing I already told you , I'm just tired " .

" Are you still sick ?" He scans my whole body," did you get tested for that thing..." .

" No  no no , I'm fine , nothing is wrong ".

He sighs heavily," then why are you being such a stranger?, I tried calling you when I was with my brother but you didn't pick up ,my brother was starting to insinuate that I made you up and the story about me finally meeting my Cinderella was a lie" .
