After a long drive in every part of the city , I turn the car around to go back to Ethan's house , I could book a hotel but I still care about him so I'm more conscious about the results my actions would bring.

My mind snaps at the thought of him answering my questions with lies, my husband is so fake it's hard to get the truth out of him , at this moment I'm extremely curious about the conversations he has been having with Andrew . After a back to back battle with my morals I take out the tape going back to the very first recording and press play .

" Thank you for honouring my time" Andrew's voice echoes. She sighs before she begins.

There's a long undesignated silence, I imagine he's nodding in response to what Andrew just said.

" Tell me about yourself, who is Ethan Price ?, ".

He remains silent for a longtime probably trying to figure out where to start .

" Ethan is a decent person.cares more about others. always goes the extra mile for the people he loves ,um he's a quick learner- adaptable. driven. I grew up in an environment that was work related. I'm the second child out of three none of us really know what having loving parents is like, business is what we were taught...I don't know what else to add".

" I'm satisfied " her tone is stale," judging from the activities we've had before by the looks of things you know your wife better than your money or should I say 'business ' . Do you think she'd describe you the way you described yourself -caring, loving and decent?".

He huffs ," no ".

" Great. so you aren't clueless which means you won't be playing the victim card too much . We'll come back to this conversation again. Do you have issues with your father?" ,She changes the subject.

" No . Not at all ".

" Your mother?" .

" She died when I was young ".

" You can still have issues with her ".

" None . She was a delightful and God-fearing woman , I don't remember much about her but I'd be committing evil if I were to ever think bad things about her , I don't harbour any hatred towards her " he explains.

Andrew sighs," how is your relationship with your family and other people in general?".

" I'd say functional , my father and I get along just fine as well as my siblings. And I treat all people equally I don't have issues with anyone" .

" All people?" , I imagine in her mind she's asking 'what about Lauren?'

" Yes , the security guards and the managers at my company get equal treatment so yes all people".

" How was your life before your wife?".

He stops for a moment again," it was great , the most at peace I've ever been".

"I see. If you were to go back in time,what would you change?"

" I'd pull out of the beauty and the beast play or better yet not audition ".

" She told me that's where you got acquainted is it correct?" .

He doesn't say anything and again I imagine him nodding.

" Did she ruin your life that much?" .

" Yes " . His answers weakens my spirit , It makes me feel guilty for ever wanting to be a part of the play in the first place.
