The next morning... I wake up to find Ethan back to his old ways , he left without saying goodbye, and there's no breakfast this morning,I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed but it's for the best , I don't think he should get his hopes high, I'm over him now. Kam is the only name that screams in my mind .

I want that future with Kam that he always talks about, with him I'm never troubled because I know what to expect he's not unpredictable like Ethan .

I get ready and leave for Caitlyn's shop first .

This is my comfort - driving myself to work everyday , and just think .

Caitlyn sees me approach and looks away pretending she doesn't see me as she continues with the chores she's doing.

" Good morning Caitlyn" I greet her.

" Morning" she still doesn't look at me .

" How are you?" I ask .

" Are you here alone ?" She looks past me.

" Yes I came here with my car " .

" Great ,so we can talk " she throw the dust cloth on the table ," what the heck is going on?, Is Ethan trying to get with you,that's what Kam told me last " .

" you and Kam are getting too close ... But yes it Seems that way " I shrug," he even apologized to me in front of everyone at the office" .

" Ethan ?, Apologized?, In front of everyone?" Her eyes widen.

" Yep " .

" Coffee ?" She asks .

" Yes please" .

" I definitely need to hear this over coffee" .

After preparing the coffee she comes back with two cups and pulls out the chair next to mine.

" Spill it , what happened after we left ?, How is it that you are still in one piece?,why is Ethan all of a sudden trying to be the perfect husband?".

"You like gossip don't you ... Well after you left I dodged the house and went to Kam as you already know , I thought it was my last chance alive so I had to use it to see him and then one thing led to another and then Ethan called ..." .

" Wait wait , what do you mean one thing led to another?, Did you two " anticipation in her expression.

I nod lightly," oh my goodness, who are you and what have you done with scared little Lauren, you know the one who used to go' I can't if Ethan finds out I'm dead , Ethan will be mad yadda yadda ' " she mocks.

" You are so annoying, I'm afraid I can't tell you more than I already have " I say to get back at her.

" I'm not going to beg you because I already heard all that I wanted to hear, actually not all of it ... How was it ?, Your first time ?" She leans in .

I blush slightly bitting the corner of my lips ," should I even be discussing this with you ? , You are my older sister afterall "..

She looks around," ah yes , I'm your sister and your only friend, it's not like you are going to discuss this kind of thing with Kam ,so spill it".

" Nope , I'll just keep that to myself thank you ".

" Whatever, so I already know almost everything, Austin and I talked last night and he asked me to pressure you to pressure Ethan to give you a divorce ".

" He did ?".

" Yes and I'm with him , Ethan is too cocky, don't waste your time with him , this trying to mend things attitude of his must be one of his plots you never know what he's planning, the fact that he didn't freak about Austin attending dad's dalfi scares me , who knows he might have a bigger punishment planned " .

" What if he's being genuine?" .

She stops," you can't seriously think that but if he is then I'd still say you should ask him for a divorce,if he's genuine he'll want you to be happy and the one who holds your happiness is your Kam, there's no use trying to fix a broken glass and that's what you and Ethan are ,there's just no way things would be normal between you two " she explains.

" I feel the same " I sigh.

" And I don't think I'll ever like him again, I'd hate you more if you were to fall into his trap ".

" Hate is a strong word "

" That I stand by .Austin said you promised to talk to Ethan yesterday how did it go ?" .

" I didn't, I couldn't, he upped and left before he even ate his food because of some report " .

" Then try again tonight, if you fail then tomorrow,if you fail again then the day after tomorrow before you start having second thoughts, this is your chance at happiness Lauren grab it with both hands " she urges.

" I'll try , I also want to be with Kam without any fear " .

" I'll pray for you, it will all go well , if he's genuine then you'll be free once and for all".

" But what about dad , you know how much he adores Ethan " .

" You worry too much, we'll figure him out , one problem at a time ".

" Okay " I sip my coffee.

" Your dalfi is coming up , dad and I are on top of things , you don't have to worry about anything, just know that it'll be perfect " .

" I forgot about that , yaay! , Can't wait " I say sarcastically.

" What was that ".

" Maybe I should be involved in the planning this time should I remind you what you two did last yeay ?, You chose a country that was going through a storm season and made everyone carry beach clothes , do I need to mention the food?

" You know as per tradition you are to just sit still and let others do the planning, so if dad and I make terrible decisions you have no choice but to cross your arms and watch it all unfold before you".

" That's why I said ' Yaay ' , I can't wait to see what disaster you two cook up , I'm curious though , are you the one who comes up with the silly picks or is it dad ?".

" When I plan with other people it always goes smoothly but when I plan with dad it's a disaster so you make the guess ".

I nod , " he can be very stubborn right?" .

" Yep , he might get stubborn about you and Ethan seperating but he values your happiness so he'll eventually accept it " her eyebrows wiggle," meanwhile I think It'd be best
If he got used to his new son in law, we should definitely invite Austin again, this time it'll be more fun plus since its your dalfi A lot of our extended family members are going to be there".

" You can't be too sure with those ones we'll just have to see if they actually attend".

" If we pick a luxurious place then they'll surely come plus you are super rich so we don't have to worry ".

" You mean Ethan is super rich ".

" And stingy . What does he do with all his money besides buying you rings ,cars and clothes ?, I saw him on the Forbes magazine last night , he's on another level I tend to forget who he is because of how he is ".

" I get you , I also wonder ".

" It's annoying isn't it ?, Having a rich husband who doesn't share his wealth with you not only that , you don't know what he does with it " .

" Yes but then again I can't worry too much , he's not my husband " .

" I'm just grateful that all of this is coming to an end , if he refuses to give you the divorce then we have a problem "

" I know, I'll be nice to him and try to reason with him as to why a divorce is much better ".

" And it will go well ".

" I hope so too ".

At this point we are all hoping for the opposite of what Ethan is hoping for .

After my chat with Caitlyn I head straight for the office.
