" Nah , it had to be something bigger than that ".

" What can be bigger than an affair?".

" I don't know but What surprises me more is the sudden turn around, how did things change between them like this ? ".

" Right , just between you and me I thought Mr Price and I were starting to kick things off I was so sure I was going to be the next Mrs Price ".

" I thought so too with just the way he was helping you with your work everyday, I was starting to get ready for a promotion ".

They laugh, " you know I would've never left you out" .

" Tell me about it " , they both sigh at the same time, I can hear by the steady sound of their voices that they are staring at themselves on the mirror. They did not come in here to use the bathrooms.

" Do you see the way he looks at her these days ".

" She did some strong black magic on him I'm telling you".

" How strong?, Like blood covenant strong?".

" Maybe even higher than that , how else would one explain the fact that he doesn't bother with helping anyone else at the office except for her and commands everyone to address her with respect all of a sudden , you'd have to have something stronger to break the spell he is under its massive " they laugh.

A third person comes into the bathroom," are you gossiping about Mrs Price again?" It's Penelope.

" You mean Lauren?, Yes we are , you can join in if you want and stop trying to act nice towards her we heard she just cursed at you ".

"This  office and it's lies ".

" That didn't happen ?".

" Of course not , she didn't curse at me she just commanded me to go to her husband's office ".

" You mean Mr Price's office?".

" Stop with the corrections Kelly, I came here to pee nothing more " I hear her open the toilet door next to mine.

" Who is she to command you to do anything?, Her witchcraft might've worked on her husband it will not work on us ".

Penelope keeps quiet until she exits the toilet.

" Girls stop this before someone else hears you " she washes her hand I presume because I hear the running water.

" Everyone here gossips about her , they didn't before but now they do , the gathering we had last Friday that you decided to skip would've opened your eyes , everyone and I mean everyone except for the ones that weren't present that would be you , Joseph, Miranda oh and Mr Mayor was there he just remained silent throughout the entire conversation he actually ended up leaving  " she says .

" The actual theory that a lot of people agree on is that she is actually pregnant , and we all know how rich people value heirs ".

" But I strongly believe its witchcraft, I think we should lure Mr Price to church so he can be delivered ".

" You girls are just nuts , I don't want to be apart of this , I have to get back to my desk , bye " she excuses herself.

" We'll have to wait for at least a few months to figure out which theory is true ".

"But I feel sorry for Mr Price,he really missed out on a good woman " they burst into laughter again and start talking about how hot he is .

they bring my dad up , Kelly took some time to study my past down to the last detail.

" Really?, So Mr price saved them ?".

" I heard he is living  luxuriously in a very rich neighborhood outside of this district I'm just not sure where " .

They eventually leave and I come out after them , they're conversation lasted for about 25 minutes.

I don't know why but I find myself taking the stairs all the way to my office, I knew they hated me but this is just too much , I would've preferred not to know.

I open my office and find Kam sitting on my couch , my body weakens even more at the sight of him.

I'm ready to tell him off and make him hate me to such an extent that he wouldn't come near me.

He stands up and studies me before opening his mouth ," good morning Mrs Price" .

I glare at him ," now you see me " I drag my feet to my desk .

Coldly he says ," I heard from Penelope that you are here , I came to give you these to give to your husband, he can submit them after signing them , I'm not coming in on Monday . I want to make sure he gets it "

" Oh " , I take the files ," I'll give it to him".

" I'll be off " he nonchalantly turns around to leave but stops at the door to find Ethan standing there in his casual clothes.

They glare at each other for a second ," oh hey man I thought you weren't coming in ?" Austin greets him more enthusiastically.

They shake hands and Ethan looks past him to me , " I came to give your wife the files , she'll explain to you ,I actually have to get going I'm going to spend the weekend at my home country,I won't be back till Tuesday".

" Oh sure , you can go don't let me stop you ,have a safe flight " Ethan moves aside .

" Thanks ,I'll see you when I get back" he leaves.

Ethan enters my office," hey ,you left this morning without saying goodbye".

" I didn't want to wake you , K.. Austin says you have to submit these yourself before Tuesday " I hold out the files to him .

He takes them ," are you sick ?, Or did the four eyes just ruin your day ?".

"No ,he just gave me the files and left ".

" How did you get here ?, You left your car at home . I came to bring it to you ".

" Kam didn't drive me here if that's what you are worried about ".

" That's not where my head was ".

Their conversation keeps replaying in my head , I don't know how I feel looking at Ethan , a part of me wants to blame him and the other part says I was responsible for it all .

I fall onto my chair and lay my head on the desk and start crying , he runs up next to me , " hey hey , what's wrong ?" He holds my shoulders gently.

" Ethan I just can't put up with this " I sob.

" What's wrong, what happened?".

" Do you have any idea what the office staff is saying about me ?, Again I don't blame them ,this is what you wanted in the first place" I shove his hands away , so I choose to blame him , but I'm not wrong , it is his fault, he mistreated me infront of the office stuff because he wanted to belittle me.

" What are you talking about?".

" What do you think the staff is saying about me at this current moment?, Did you know they had a drinks party last week and apparently I was the topic , I'm a high level sorcerer and it doesn't end there , this is just what they said today ,I don't want to begin to imagine the worser things they are probably saying as well".

" What ?! , Where did you hear all this ?" His voice is filled with rage .

" I heard Kelly and Elizabeth in the bathroom, did you have a thing going on with Elizabeth?" I ask like a jealous wife .

" What ? ,No! Of course not ".

" Whatever Ethan " I grab the box of tissues from my far right corner.

" Please leave, I'd like to be alone " I express .

He stomps out of my office and leaves me to my thoughts. I'm more embarrassed that Kam was there when it all happened.
