I walked from the CCPD to Jitters, because I was beyond stressed out. Suddenly, my phone started ringing, and I saw that it was an incoming call from Dr. Wells. "Hello?" I answered.

"Finn where are you?" Harrison asked sternly.

I nervously looked around for the street signs, and replied, "Uh, at the corner of Washington avenue and third street near Jitters, why?"

Then, a red blur sped towards me, picked me up, and within a second I was standing in the headquarters of Star Labs; everyone was staring at me, so I asked very confused, "What's going on?"

"What do you know about nuclear fusion?" Wells asked with his arms folded across his chest.

I stuttered, "I mean, I wrote part of my thesis paper on it, but there's not that much to know about. Why?"

Wells explained, "Professor Stein's atoms are rejecting Ronnie's body causing them to be very unstable, meaning he could go nuclear at any second. The only possible way to save this city and them is to split their atoms back into their original bodies, and I have absolutely no clue how we're going to do that."

----

I sat at my desk working diligently at trying to figure out how to split Ronnie and Stein, and Barry massaged my shoulders in an attempt to un-stress me.

Dr. Wells rolled in silently, but Barry asked loudly, "Anything?"

"I have an idea," Wells huffed, "It's a bit of a Hail Mary, but Cisco, Finn, and I can give it a try."

Caitlin smiled, "Thank you."

"I'll go get the Professor," Barry stated, but Cisco walked in aggravated.

He stated, "Looking for the professor? Yeah, he's gone."

Cisco, Wells, and I were building the device that would theoretically split Ronnie and Professor Stein, but I was nervous. "You guys almost done?" Barry asked while pacing about the room nervously.

I welded the wires together and snapped, "Hang on, you can't rush this."

Caitlin walked in from the lab and announced, "I found Stein. He's in the badlands. Middle of nowhere. Thirty miles outside of Central City."

"Minimum safe distance," Cisco stated.

Wells inserted, "He's sacrificing himself."

"How much time does he have left?" Barry asked urgently.

Cisco replied, "Twelve minutes."

Dr. Wells and I said at the same time, "Done!"

I placed the cap onto the atom splitter, and Barry asked curiously, "What is it?"

"This is a quantum splicer," I smirked, "I talked about it in my thesis."

Caitlin asked, "Will it work to separate them?"

Wells smirked, "We'll know in twelve minutes," He handed the splicer to Barry but Caitlin took it and explained, "Now Barry, even you can't outrun a nuclear blast, so you get this to Professor Stein and you get out of their as fast as you can."

"What are you doing?" I asked Caitlin confused.

"I'm going with him," She said getting her coat.

Barry interjected, "No you're not."

Wells replied, "It's too dangerous."

She argued, "Barry doesn't know how to operate the splicer."
