In my office, Barry had me pushed against the wall next to the window where I had all of my Hanukkah decorations, and he kissed my neck roughly. He said this was one of my birthday/Hanukkah presents since my birthday fell in the middle of Hanukkah this year and Barry couldn't celebrate with me while he was in Starling City.

"Are you sure no one will come in?" I whispered in his ear.

Barry replied, "I locked the door, don't worry."

I got butterflies in my stomach. "Maybe we should wait until we get home," I suggested. "I mean, Cisco or Iris or Caitlin could come in at any time."

"Hey," Barry smiled, kissing my forehead, "it's your sort of birthday. I want you to have a good day. I locked the door, and if it makes you feel better, we can lock the door to your nap-room."

I smirked, "You know, that room is sound proof."

"Perfect," he replied.

Laughing, I whispered, "If we do get caught, I'll be fully prepared to reprimand myself." Barry squeezed my butt, and I giggled, "Someone's excited."

"I can't help myself," Barry laughed.

I chuckled, "Well, let's get into the backroom before you submit to your urges and we bang in front of an open window."

________

We cuddled on the tiny cot that I had in my nap-room with blankets pulled over our bodies, and I was nearly lying on top of Barry. As I traced shapes on his chest, Barry stated softly with a big smile, "You make me really happy, Finn."

I grinned, responding, "Awe, Bar. You make me really happy too."

Barry rolled onto his side, facing me, and he explained quietly, "In the video Wells left for me he said that I'd never really be happy, and for a while I really started to believe him but now . . . I-I don't know," he had a big, goofy grin. "Maybe there is a way to really be happy."

"I just . . .," I sighed, rolling onto my back, "I wish that I didn't feel the way that I do all the time—a constant state of having a bowling ball in my stomach, but the bowling ball is actually a time bomb of emotions."

Barry rested his head in my shoulder, and whispered against my skin, "I promise you'll get closure one day. I just want you to feel better."

I smiled softly, "I love you, Barry."

________

After Barry left to go back to CCPD, I joined Caitlin and Jay in the Cortex to go over how to close the breaches. Jay suggested, looking at an algorithm of all the known breaches that Harry made, "I was thinking that if we could inject an unstable neutrino burst into the individual breaches, it might cause them to seal on their own."

"And stop Zoom from travelling back and forth between our worlds," Caitlin said, finishing Jay's thought.

I suggested, eating a candy cane, "At least then we wouldn't have to worry about him sending any more metas over for Barry to fight."

Caitlin smiled at Jay. "It means a lot."

"What does?" Jay questioned, not noticing her gaze.

She grinned, explaining, "You looking after Barry. He's been through a lot the last few weeks." Cisco came into the Cortex, and sat down next to me with a bag full of sour candy canes.
