"Doctor Light was supposed to get my emblem and throw it through the breach as proof that she killed me," Barry explained, "He would come through and confirm the kill, and then go back to Earth-2. Maybe that's how we can find him and stop him."

I glared at Barry. "He's not going to buy it," I stated.

"Yes he will," Barry explained to Caitlin, Cisco, and I. "If we can get Doctor Light to take my new emblem, throw it through the breach, then Zoom will come to collect my body, and we can trap him."

Cisco raised his eyebrow at Barry, and stated menacingly, "You know it took a lot of work to make that emblem, right?"

"This is the woman who was willing to kill Linda in order to escape Zoom, but now she's willing to help us catch him?" Caitlin repeated.

Barry sighed, "She knows it's the only way."

Harry came out of Caitlin's lab to join us in the Cortex. He explained, "Before I left Earth-2, I worked on a serum to dampen Zoom's speed. All we would need is for Ramon and Finn to develop a weapon to deliver it."

Caitlin laughed, sarcastically, "Oh great! That could be this year's cold gun. Maybe another criminal can get it, and then we'd have Sergeant Slow."

"I would never let that happen," Cisco replied, glaring up at Caitlin. "Sergeant Slow is a terrible name."

"Are we forgetting how much more powerful than Barry Zoom seems to be?" Caitlin asked shrewdly. "I mean, if Barry can catch bullets, what's to say Zoom can't catch whatever you shoot at him?"

I was unknowingly doing the "Barry-thinking-hand-thing", and I explained to Caitlin as I paced around, "Surprise . . . the element of surprise. All we would need to do is rig a projectile to fire as Zoom crosses into the breach. He can't stop what he can't see coming."

"That's brilliant," Harry smirked.

I smiled, "Thanks."

Caitlin huffed, "Joe, voice of reason here?"

Joe sighed, leaning against the doorway, "We need a plan. That's as good as any. As long as she can deliver."

"Don't underestimate her, Detective," Harry defended.

Barry's phone started buzzing in his pocket, and he said to Joe, "Oh, Patty needs us back at the station. I'll meet you there, alright?"

Caitlin and Cisco were staring at me like I had just betrayed them. The atmosphere grew heavy and tense as silence pursued.

Sighing, I turned around, and walked into Harry's make-shift lab. I sat down in the rolling chair next to him, and I asked, "Alright Harry, I'll get started on the gun and you'll make the serum." He was silently fumbling with a wrench, deep in thought. "Harry," I said a bit louder, grabbing his attention, "You get started on the serum, and I've got the gun."

________

Earth-2, Six Months Ago

Harry and Finn were lying in their king size bed winding down for the night. Harry was on his laptop reading emails and reports from his employees at Star-Labs, and Finn was watching the reality show Keeping Up with the Clintons.

"God, Jefferson is a damn moron," Harry mumbled.

Finn looked up at her new fiancée, and asked softly, "What did he do this time?"

Harry took his glasses off, and rubbed his blue eyes tiredly. "He 'claims' that he can't figure out how to align the quantum helix," Harry explained.

"But I've already told him how to do it." Finn finished his sentence. She laughed as she suggested, "You should tell him that if he doesn't listen to your sexy, new fiancée he's fired."

Harry smiled. "Don't worry," he sighed, "If he keeps his sexist antics up, you're taking over his position, and I'll personally kick his ass to the curb."

"That's why I love you," Finn laughed. Harry kissed the top of her head, and closed his laptop, setting it on the bedside table.

Surprisingly, Harry started to watch TV with Finn as he held her to his chest; every time Finn wanted to watch Keeping Up with the Clintons he would try to convince her to put on something else.

"What's Bill doing?" Harry asked softly.

Finn explained, smiling shyly, "He's 'designing his line of saxophones' with Monica."

"And Hillary isn't buying it," Harry laughed. "Do you want any champagne?" he asked.

She smiled. "Yeah, there should be a few bottles in the cellar left from the party." Harry pulled the covers back, and left the bedroom.

Finn diverted her attention back to the TV, stealing most of the blankets from Harry's side of the bed, and watched her show until there was a knock at the door. "Come in," she called.

The bedroom door opened, and Jesse, Harry's teenage daughter, opened the door looking down at her physics homework from university. "Hey Dad," she asked, without looking up to see if Harry was here, "I was wondering if you . . ." Jesse looked at me with disgust, "Oh, where's my dad at?"

"He's in the cellar," Finn responded kindly. "What do you need help with?" she asked.

Jesse rolled her eyes. "Physics stuff you wouldn't understand." She's hated Finn ever since Harry brought her home to meet Jesse for the first time.

"I was a physics major, remember. My name will be Doctor Finn Wells this July," Finn laughed, and patted the empty side of the bed, "Come here, I'll help you."

Jesse inched closer, and had a suspicious look on her face. "Why do you want to help me?" she scoffed.

She sat down in Harry's spot with her textbook closed, and Finn smiled sweetly up at her. "You're my step-daughter," Finn explained softly, "and I love you and would do anything for you."

"If that was true you'd leave," Jesse scoffed.

Finn sighed, "Jesse, I'm sorry that you don't like me for whatever reasons you have, but I love your dad and your bad attitude isn't going to change that for me."

"That's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard," Jesse snorted. "You love the money and that's it."

Jesse got up from the bed, and stormed out of the bedroom angrily. "Jesse!" Finn called out to her, but she ignored her calls.

Harry awkwardly entered the bedroom with two champagne glasses and a bottle in his hands, and he asked, setting down the glassware on the bedside table, "What happened?"

Finn brought her knees up to her chest, and rested her head on them. "Jesse hates me," she mumbled.

"No she doesn't," Harry cooed, taking Finn into his arms. "She just feels threatened that you're getting all of my attention, and it's making her jealous."

Finn sighed, taking the glass of champagne, "I just tried helping her with some homework and she started calling me a gold-digger."

Harry pressed his lips against the top of her head. "I'll talk to her in the morning, ok?" he whispered.

"I love you," Finn whispered.

Harry smiled, "I love you too."
