Finally, Joe and I convinced Barry there was something wrong with Wells; I don't want to make any assumptions, but I'm pretty convinced he's the Reverse Flash—so are Barry and Joe. It just bugs me so much that I can't tell anybody else about this, but I'm so sure of it.
Also, I felt that it was right to show Barry the video of Wells' leg moving, and I'm pretty sure that's what lead Barry to believe everything I had been saying ever since I started working there.
I finished the blood sample Barry had brought in from the crime scene, and I walked out of the lab and announced, "Death by apitoxin, or in other words honey bee venom."
"Bees," Cisco said in fear, "Why did it have to be bees?" He addressed to all of us, "Y'all, I don't do bees. Ain't nobody got time for bees."
I wrapped my arms around Barry's bicep, and then laid my head onto his shoulder. "I think you're going to have to protect Cisco more than me this time," I whispered with a laugh.
"But when a honeybee stings," Dr. Wells pondered while watching a YouTube video of a bee, "the stingers are literally torn from their abdomen, and they die."
Barry inserted, "But there were no stingers in the body, and no dead bees in the car."
Caitlin explained, "A honeybee can only deposit .1 milligrams of apitoxin when it releases its stinger."
Wells continued, "And yet Ms. Kang was found with enough venom in her system to kill a herd of elephants. It appears not only is a meta-human controlling these bees but also increasing their toxicity.
"Bees communicate by releasing pheromones," Barry suggested, "Maybe this meta's controlling them through secretion?"
Cisco commented, "Anyone want to join me in getting a beekeeper's suit?"
Barry laughed, "I'm pretty sure I can out run a bee." I smacked his chest with a laugh.
From the doorway, Felicity Smoak entered and smirked, "Just don't run into a lake. Bees will wait for you to come up for air, and then they'll sting you. Discovery Channel. Turns out there's a lot to discover."
I smiled, "Felicity what are you doing here?"
She laughed, "Can you guys come outside for a second?"
We followed Felicity outside where it was freezing cold still, and we stared up at the sky waiting for something to happen. Dr. Wells was the first to ask, "What exactly are we waiting for Ms. Smoak?"
"Up there," She pointed at the red speck flying against the overcast sky.
Caitlin asked confused, "Is that a bird?"
"It's a plane," Cisco stated.
Then, landing like an uncoordinated baby deer, the man in a red suit landed, and Felicity corrected all of us, "It's my boyfriend."
The red suit stood up from the cracked pavement, and then took off his helmet. "Hi," Felicity's boyfriend waved to us, "I'm Ray."
Barry, Felicity, and I stood outside of the lab where Caitlin was running vitals on Ray Palmer, and Barry commented, "So he seems a little tall for you."
I stomped his foot and whispered, "Stop being an asshole."
"Barry Allen, are you jealous?" Felicity asked quietly.
